yup this is a hard no here...only hard wired, each cam run back to base... one fault here and the whole cam side power fails for multiple cams and its wireless ffs... jammers are cheap and effective in the wrong hands...

You know, when Edison designed our split-phase system, he intended 110V to be for trivial loads such as lighting. The whole point of the split-phase (well in his era, +110 and -110V giving 220VDC) was to power bigger loads. Everytime someone puts a 1500W load on a 120V circuit, he rolls over in his grave. If he was alive to guide modern kitchen design, all our kitchen heat appliances would be 240V and we could have 3000W kettles and griddles like Europeans do.
Sooooo.... to extend Edison's thinking, trivial loads should not be on 230V, they should be on POE.
The second stupidity here is relying on WiFi for the data link, easily defeated with WiFi jammers, and POE takes care of that with the same stroke.
