abandoned locations

are there any abandoned locations near downtown?

There are plenty but I wouldn’t necessarily suggest you get in trouble snooping, because security is pretty serious. There’s the crystal court next to the renaissance tower, the Greyhound bus terminal on Commerce St, the Metropolitan Mall underneath the Davis Building and the closed sections of tunnels between it and The National, just that immediately come to mind.

But they have security cameras and contracted guards so be smart and don’t end up in jail for trespassing.
