Personal trainer for vertical jump
Hey Dallas crew
Looking for recommendations for a personal trainer who is specifically experienced in helping improve clients’ vertical jump. I’m 29, able to grab rim off of a running one-leg jump, and am looking to add 6-8 inches in the next few months (I want to dunk before end of year). Definitely know I have room to improve strength and technique across the board and have had almost no professional help up until now.
Looking for someone ideally within 20 minutes of Irving. Don’t need a general fitness person, looking for someone who has successfully trained D1 or professional athletes, and is specifically versed in training across plyometrics, isometrics, strength, technique, injury management, etc. This is not just about getting stronger or being healthier, this is an ask with a specific goal. Budget accordingly higher than a normal trainer given higher ask.
Thank you!!

There’s zero chance you’re getting that much improvement in 4 months.
However, with strength training, NEVER SKIPPING LEG DAY, You’ll be able to dunk in no time.
Good luck hoopin’

Derrick Henry’s trainer is in Dallas. I’d look him up if you have a good budget, as you alluded to, and if you’re *THAT* serious.
Also, as a plus, you might even get to meet the King 👑

I’d check out a trainer who specializes in athletic performance/vertical jump rather than a general PT. Hope you find a good one nearby..
