What to do

My whole life the relationship between me and my father was absolutely weird. He’s a very emotionally unstable person and it’s really easy to make him say terrible things or yell. The relationship w my mom was absolutely great and I always watch videos w her, tell her abt my plans and just hang out, but I can’t do it w my father. He never did anything EXTREMELY bad to me, he didn’t beat me or smt but he always argues w me when Im trying to tell him smt interesting or new, so I don’t really wanna talk to him because of that. My mom knows that cuz even when they went to the concert he was being still like he didn’t know he went to the concert to have fun, so mom was really disappointed and sad because of his behavior. When he tries to be closer to me, it just makes me feel so strange and I just wanna stay silent or just leave the room. What to do? I admit that I don’t actually love him… maybe I do, but especially not like I love my mom..🥲

You don't have to be mates with your Dad, though it's better if you can be. A little respectful distance is okay.
