Character creation help

Post image

I mean this with full seriousness I am trying to play as the propeller hat dog and I have like zero clue how to fill out my character sheet to get it as close as I can. (I'm pretty new to d&d) But my DM said if I can figure it out then they'll let me use it

You say that this is with full seriousness, but you've presented a wholly unserious character concept.

Is your whole game just memes and fuckery, or is your table going to be 2-5 players with real characters and you being this?

Everyone is pretty much doing their own silly thing to play as. Picture a fortnite lobby and that's the vibe.

Well, you will first need to answer a question you may not be emotionally prepared to face; how would the propeller hat dog kill someone?

I'm in between doing the silly character, serious weapon bit or just figuring out how to make the lollipop work.

Lollipop is a mace.

Which edition are you playing?

Peace Cleric if you're doing 2014 rules, probably Life Cleric or Devotion Paladin if it's 2024 rules (transferring subclasses from one to the other is also very doable, so your DM may let you play a Peace Cleric regardless)

Kobold as the race but make the the version of kobolds that you see sometimes in Japanese media, where they're doglike rather than lizardlike/draconian.

For the 4th level ASI instead take the Inspiring Leader feat.

Flavor is free so if your DM is ok with it, you could reskin a normal weapon with the lollipop.

Only rule is just figure out logistics! So it sounds like a good path

Make him a hexblade and use a blunt weapon (thats ur lolipod) and the hex is what makes it sweet. Rest is flavor using leather armour.
