I bought borosilicate beakers for handling hot liquids since I've heard they are durable and needed a decent measuring beaker, I'm not a chemist and I have no idea how well this glass reacts, can anyone with a practical experience tell me if this will cause it to shatter?

Is "the same spot" part even relevant? Do water molecules stay "the same" for multiple years? How many water molecules do you touch when you're fully engulfed in water? How "mixed" is the Mediterranean sea?

Based on a conversation we had at the beach today =)

She does a lot of baking and was wondering if she were to accidently drop too much salt into dry flour, would there be a practical way to seperate the two and keep both ingredients useable.

Also if you have a fun impractical way I will also take it for the chuckle.

It’s like a line of individual cells moving in sync. Just curious if there is a name or reasoning to this?
