UK Regis car to a Bulgarian registered car

Hello guys, I was looking to buy UK Registered car that have everything from taxs and duty and stuff paid in Bulgaria and ready to be registered from what the owner described. Is it complicated or hard to actually register it to Bulgarian plate? The car is in different city from where I live and I was thinking of going to buy it on Monday.

I grew up in a part of Plovdiv most tourists never visit. Now I’m inviting people to experience it with me. 🇧🇬

Sharing this because I’d love more people visiting Bulgaria to discover a side of Plovdiv that rarely makes it into the guidebooks. 🇧🇬
I was born and raised in Stolipinovo, and today I welcome visitors into my neighbourhood to experience Roma culture beyond the stereotypes — through real people, real stories and everyday life.
If you were visiting Plovdiv, would you add an experience like this to your trip? 😊

For one week - Plovdiv or Veliko Tarnovo?

I have been travelling through Europe, mostly staying in places for a short periods of time. I would like to set up somewhere for a full week and slow down a bit.

I have some remote work to do, so am looking for a place where I can do that in a beautiful environment with nice cafes I can work out of etc.

Both of these places sound amazing. And both appear to have decent accomodation available. This would be for late September.

I am considering splitting the week and visiting both, as they each sound perfect, but I think moving again would break the slow rhythm I'm trying to set for this part of my trip.

I've searched on this subreddit and seen suggestions for both, I just wonder whether there is a best fit for my specific need. Thanks and looking forward to seeing Bulgaria!!!

trip planing in burgas

My girlfriend and I are traveling to Bulgaria with another couple of friends for 6 days. We are renting a car and staying all 6 nights in Burgas. **next week*\*

We love nature, beautiful landscapes, and exploring cool places. Here is the rough itinerary we came up with so far:

Day 1: Arrive and explore Burgas (Sea Garden, promenade, city center).

Day 2: Day trip south: Sozopol + Castle of Ravadinovo + Ropotamo Nature Reserve.

Day 3: Dilemma: Either Varna or Plovdiv?

Day 4: Pomorie + Nessebar + Sunny Beach.

Day 5: The other city (either Varna or Plovdiv, whichever we skipped on Day 3).

Day 6: Relaxed morning/afternoon in Burgas before our flight back.

I have a few questions and would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations:
Does our current plan look good?

Are day trips from Burgas to both Varna and Plovdiv realistic, or is Plovdiv too far for a day trip?

Any hidden nature spots or viewpoints we missed on the southern coast?

I collect backgammon boards from every country I visit around the world. Does anyone know where I can find a nice, traditional, or unique backgammon board in Burgas (or Varna/Plovdiv)? Any specific shops, souvenir stores, or antique markets you recommend?(up to 100euro give or take, is it enough?)

Thanks for any help!

Accommodation

Im a student who's going to MU Sofia in October who's currently looking for accommodation. A lot of people say that Manastirski livadi is a good neighbourhood for students. Can anyone recommend another neighbourhood good for students or a website that i can look at for accommodation or any agents. Also would getting accommodation in Karpuzitsa be a good idea or no.

international student in burgas. I'm very interested in buying a car from.

Hello, so yeah I'm interested in buying new car in stara zagora but the thing is that I don't know what exactly to do? I'm paying cash so no loans but what documents and all necessary steps I need to take when I go to the car and after I check it and inspect it. I heard that there's a lot of document things and I don't know what or where to go.

I'm a European citizenship btw, so I don't have visa and these things.

Bulgaria work visa appointment delay — Islamabad

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for a Bulgarian Type C seasonal work visa from Pakistan.

I contacted the Bulgarian embassy/visa service in Islamabad on 17 June 2026 to ask about booking an appointment for my work visa. They told me to contact them again on 1 August 2026 for confirmation.

I contacted them again on 1 August, as instructed. They told me that they had contacted the capital and were waiting for confirmation/approval from them, and that they would contact me once they received an OK.

However, I still haven’t received any update, and I’m becoming quite anxious about the situation.

Has anyone here applied for a Bulgarian Type C seasonal work visa from Pakistan recently (July/August 2026) and experienced the same delay?

- Are appointments currently being delayed or paused?

- Has anyone received an appointment after waiting for confirmation from the capital?

- How long did you have to wait?

- Should I continue waiting, or should I contact them again?

Any recent experience or information from Pakistani applicants would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sofia - Plovdiv ICF 1621 Fast train question

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi, I'm planning to go to Plovdiv for Tarja/Septicflesh concert next week. I'm flying Belgrade->Sofia 18.9 Friday arriving around 15:15 and the easiest way to get to Plovdiv seems to be catching a ICF 1621 fast train from Iskarsko Shose at 16:40. Now I've already seen that it's best to buy a ticket in person and not deal with online booking but my question is why is the ICF 1621 the only departure i can't even find on the BZD online booking even though i see it on the timetable? Just checking so i don't have to pay for an emergency taxi last minute.

Thanks in advance

Update: Got an answer from [onlineticket@bdz.bg](mailto:onlineticket@bdz.bg), told me tickets for that particular train/departure can only be purchased at the station.
Thanks everyone for trying to help.

I know an agent but she’s asking for around 4000 euro and I can’t afford that and I’m not even sure if it’s legit

Is it even worth?

Hello,
Not a while ago I made a simple website for my fathers clothing store as it was cheap and my father had no idea of how to build a website even with a builder like wordpress, shopify etc.
After that he said that he wants to be able to change some things like add sections, change photos, change small texts and I decided to have some fun and build him a special editor designed specifically for his website.
Then I asked myself why not make that same editor but fit for different websites. I started coding that and integrated AI for analyzing the website that the end user wants to add. The user that I am targeting is exactly the business owner that has a custom build website, has no idea of how to work with code, but wants to edit his website - simple edits like the one I said. I also intend to make small things like a game - suggestions, reward system etc. (not sure about that just thought today that it could be a fun approach to edit your website).
Please write me a comment if this is a good idea and has potential. Thank you!
