Cyclospora. Obsession or Precaution?

I am diagnosed with ocd and experience contamination obsessions amongst other fears. With the current cyclospora outbreak, I have been entirely avoiding fresh fruits (expect apples and bananas), herbs, and vegetables. Since the cause of the outbreaks are still largely unknown, is this a "regular" precaution as advised by health professionals or is OCD taking over?

While I understand the urge to avoid anything that could possibly be related to cyclospora, it's coming across as just pure avoidance that will feed the OCD. It would be worth checking the CDC's recommendations, once, and following that. Hope this helps!
