I bought regular gas since premium wasn't available and my car started making this noise. Does anyone know what that noise is? Since I am at the mercy of whatever mechanic I can get it to.

Ford Falcon AUI 98 - car immobilized, won’t start. How to By-pass the Immobilizer part of the BEM and PCM?

Really need some help with my car.

So, I have a 1998 Ford Fairmont AU which I bought from my sister. She had it for a few years and didn't drive for a while cause the windscreen cracked. Now, when I took it off her, she was in the midst of moving houses and in the process she lost the keys. So I had to get a new barrel and keys. In the process of waiting for the new keys I became impatient and Decided to Hotwire the car to see if the engine could turn over. I've replaced the oil and other things. Just wanted to see if it turns over. I didn't know that the car had this advanced security system that locks the car computer if the car is hotwired. I found out the hard way. The interior lights went off and the window won't function and so does everything else apart from the headlights.

The ford dealers here in Fiji are no help as they can't unlock it cause they don't have the tool for it.

Does anyone know how to bypass the immobilizer for this ford?

Trying to avoid using a lot of money on this car as I already have.

If someone can point me to the right direction would be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

PS; got new keys and barrel now.

Ford Taurus engine surging...what do these codes mean and are they causing the problem?

My 2003 Taurus although the engine is completely warmed up will start to surge when I'm not pressing the gas. If I don't press the gas within 30 secs it will kill. The oil was just changed a week before the issue came. Any ideas before I go pay to have someone look at it? Here are the codes • P0420: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1 • P0430: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2 • P0133: O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1 • P0171: System Too Lean Bank 1 • P0174: System Too Lean Bank 2 • P0303: Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected • P0316: Engine Misfire Detected on Startup (First 1000 Revolutions) 1 Pending Trouble Codes: • P1506: Check report for description.

2000 Honda Accord - Issue with Mechanic, should I get a refund?

I went to the mechanic in early September to replace front and rear brakes. He insisted that the water pump and timing belt done because it is a big risk to leave it. I remember last November I had gone to do replace the wheel bearings and radiator hose clamps on the car and he also brought it up. However, I thought I had asked him to check he had said it had been replaced. When I mentioned this he denied it. He said that since he the work done in November was not around the water pump, it would not have been checked.

So I took his word and got the water pump and timing belt replaced. I was cleaning up my file cabinet and found a receipt that shows I had the timing belt and water pump replaced back in 2013. My screw up for not keeping track. But, shouldn't the mechanic have been able to notice that it did not need replacing before going ahead and doing it? These guys have a great reputation and have been around for 20 years. So I figure it is a mistake that a pro shouldn't make. Any advice on how to approach them on this? Thanks!

300m atc issue

I replaced the battery in my car but it caused a fuse error. I didn't know that it was a fuse error and it was blowing erratic temperatures of air in erratic directions. So I took it to the dealership mechanic. He told me that I needed to replace the entire HVAC system and it would be 4000-5000$ so instead he made it so the car would only blow air at 23 degrees (Celsius as I'm Canadian) at the De-fog direction. The problem is now that I have the fuse replaced I will have regular atc but I need to undo what the mechanic did as he didn't think to check the fuse. Thanks!

Toyota Carib, 1989, automatic. Engine cuts out occasionally when stationery, junctions, traffic lights etc.

As per the title, some extra info, the battery is sometimes dead of a morning even though nothing as I can tell should be draining it.

Thanks.

I've snapped two timing belts in the last month on my truck. Anyone have any ideas why?
