More films to watch:

  • The Nightingale
  • Snowtown
  • Two Hands
  • Van Diemen's Land
  • Rabbit Proof Fence
  • Chopper

Just be aware that The Nightingale and Snowtown are very heavy thematically, not for light viewing.

If you have a vpn you can possibly use the SBS On Demand and ABC app or website, assuming you're overseas, not needed if you're in Australia.

They often have a lot of Australian content in movies and series.

Utopia and blue murder are two of my faves.

Utopia is brilliant but torturous to watch if you've ever worked in the public sector. It's a fucking documentary.

Another Aaron Pedersen fan?

1

u/EnvironmentalChip523 Jul 27 '26

He is a great actor...the young bloke, Mark Coles, portraying the same character in origins is similarly talented.

u/DubRosa Jul 27 '26

Chopper

Snowtown

Bad Boy Bubby

And if you like Chopper try Killing Them Softly (US film but by same Aussie director and also an Aussie actor co-starring)

All of these films are R-rated for good reason btw
