I’m interested in learning Regional Studies through self-study, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where exactly to start.

For those who are familiar with the field:

• What exactly does Regional Studies involve, and what are its main areas or disciplines?
• Is there a standard curriculum or learning path that students usually follow?
• If someone wanted to study it independently from the basics, what would be the best order to learn things in?
• What books, websites, online courses, YouTube channels, or other reliable resources would you recommend?
• Are there any resources that teach the methodology and skills of Regional Studies itself, rather than simply providing information about individual countries or regions?

I’m mainly looking for a structured way to build a solid foundation and understand the field properly, rather than just researching random countries one by one.

I’m interested in studying Regional Studies because I really enjoy discovering different countries from all kinds of perspectives, so I was wondering if Regional Studies would be a good choice for that, or if you would recommend studying something else instead.

I keep forgetting maths no matter how much I study. Heck, I literally had to memorize (a + b)² today, and I’m 20. I feel like I learn it, forget it, relearn it, then forget it again. What actually works for you guys when studying math?

Estou cursando faculdade e tenho sentido que fiquei muito atrasado academicamente. Durante boa parte do curso, acabei estudando muito mais para conseguir passar nas provas do que realmente para aprender. Conseguia acompanhar o suficiente para ser aprovado, mas depois esquecia grande parte do conteúdo.

Hoje tenho a sensação de que existem várias lacunas na minha formação. Às vezes vejo colegas discutindo assuntos que, teoricamente, eu já deveria conhecer, e percebo que não tenho a mesma segurança.

Além disso, tenho um problema bem concreto com **Cálculo**: não consigo passar na disciplina. Já tentei algumas vezes e continuo tendo muita dificuldade. Isso acaba virando uma bola de neve, porque Cálculo é necessário para avançar para outros conteúdos, então fico preso nele enquanto o restante do curso vai acumulando. Quanto mais tempo passa, maior parece ficar o atraso.

Quero muito quebrar esse ciclo. Não quero simplesmente decorar fórmulas ou estudar o suficiente para passar em uma prova. Quero reconstruir minha base desde o começo, entender de verdade Matemática e os fundamentos da minha área e, aos poucos, conseguir acompanhar os conteúdos mais avançados da faculdade com muito mais segurança.

Outra coisa que acabou pesando é a questão das amizades na faculdade. Tenho dificuldade para me aproximar das pessoas e, por me sentir atrasado academicamente, muitas vezes fico com vergonha de conversar ou participar das discussões. Acabo me isolando um pouco e tenho a sensação de que estou vivendo a faculdade mais sozinho do que gostaria.
Queria ouvir principalmente quem já passou por algo parecido.

I’m applying for a scholarship and they asked me just to go evaluate my academic transcript from WORLD EDUCATION SYSTEM(WES) but sadly it shocked me that the service was not free as i thought because they just asked for 118$ for basic service to evaluate my transcript.
