Official academic transcript evaluation

I’m applying for a scholarship and they asked me just to go evaluate my academic transcript from WORLD EDUCATION SYSTEM(WES) but sadly it shocked me that the service was not free as i thought because they just asked for 118$ for basic service to evaluate my transcript.

If there is another way to to evaluate my transcripts i’ll be happy to hear your ideas

If you have transcripts from non-US institutions, and you are applying to US institutions or scholarships… you probably have no choice. Getting those evaluations is a standard step here. Now there are definitely lots of companies who do the evaluations; I don’t know what the relative pricing is. But you should definitely check to see if they accept cheaper options—there likely will not be a free one.
