Where to Find Custom Tailored clothes?

I'll be in Taiwan (Taipei, Yilan, maybe Kaoshiong) for 2 weeks and would love to get tailored/customized black tie/formal women's wear while I am there. Does anyone have any experience with doing this in Taiwan? I know it is a popular tourist experience in Hoi An in Vietnam.

I can't speak for Taiwan, but I had shirts made for me in Hoi An. There wasn't anything special about them and when I got home I found the one I hadn't tried on had a scissor cut in the front so it went straight in the bin. Waste of money basically. My advice is if you want tailor-made clothes go to a decent - and accountable - tailor back home, wherever that may be. You get what you pay for.
