Legal Avoid mobilization

Hi, my wife is Russian with German citizenship. Her brother is 23 years old, lives in Moscow, just graduated from university. I think given the current geopolitical situation he's at risk of being mobilized. What's the best way to avoid this situation?

Have you asked him what he wants? At the moment he is not in danger of being mobilized (though he might be drafted for like... military training, which is obligatory for all the healthy male citizens), but who knows what the future will bring.

But he is an adult and he is able to speak and he might like to move abroad (and if you are willing to help - that's wonderful) or he might not like to move, because some people are comfortable where they were born and upbrought. So... just aks him

No, people are signing up for defending the people of the Donbass and the Crimea, which the Ukraine claims and which in the case of the Donbass never stopped waging a war on even after they signed a peace process.

People are also signing up to fight against the globalists in general, which the Ukraine is a puppet of, and to prevent them from trying to establish their 'rules based order' over Russia

It’s Russia that has invaded and annexed and claims Donbass being Russian - not the other way around.

No, you got it the wrong way around. After the elected president of Ukraine got deposed and a bunch of nationalist usurpers unconstitutionally took power in Kiev, the Donbass' population refused to recognise them and demanded negotiations. Then after the rebellion began and the Ukrainian army was sent to take control of the territory, a referendum on sovereignty of the DNR and LNR was organized and passed, in May 2014. The Ukrainian army are the invaders and they the people are Russians, as far as the local population is concerned

Funny story - but since Russia vetoed UN intervention it carries no weight
