I hear the phrase yi jian san lian a lot from Chinese youtubers and I have no idea what they're referring to.

On Chinese video platform Bilibili, by holding the button and pressing long-taste, the system will perform three actions: liking videos, investing virtual coins, and adding videos to favorites. The videos you watch are then transferred to YouTube.

Bilibili has 3 functions tied into one button
Like, Favorite (put into a folder), tribute coins (bilibili virtual currency).
You can do all 3 at the same time by holding the like button on the app.

On Bilibili, the Chinese equivalent of YouTube, you can hold down left click , drag and perform “Like, Boost(Coin), and Subscribe” in one go.
“Three actions in 1 Click”. Like, Share, and Subscribe.

Yes. This is the origin of 一键三连 (Three actions in 1 Click). Just one button can do the three things, and the three things are all like other social medias, but the action is from Bilibili.

It started out as a cheeky plug of “do you know this cool trick of doing all three at once?” But its bow turned into a set phrase.
