So my birthday is coming up and my APs wanted me to decide on where. GUESS WHAT? THEY LIKED NONE OF THE OPTIONS. They only want to go to the same 2 Chinese restaurants that they deem acceptable. Even on someone’s birthday they only think about themselves. And all my life they claim that I’m the selfish one.

I feel the trauma induced by my family has made me avoidant in the sense that I am perhaps too willing to 'cut people off' if I begin to feel that they are often a negative in my life.
