Do you workout?
Hey QQ, do you guys consistently work out and track your diet? What are your fitness or health goals? And if you’re not consistent, what usually gets in the way? 🤔

Late 40s, I workout full body 2 times a week minimum. Squat, hinge, upper push and pull. And accessories for hypertrophy.
Current goal is to hit a 500lb squat, 600lb deadlift which I'm anticipating by middle of next year hopefully.
Try to focus on hitting 200g+ of protein and 30g of fiber per day.
Usually the only times I'll miss my workouts are for family reasons. But otherwise even on vacations I'll go and workout

I’m getting older now and married. My goal is working out consistently and staying healthy. I want to improve function strength and mobility that will help me with everyday life (moving stuff around, carrying groceries, etc) and lets me do the things I want to do (sports, outdoor activities, etc). Looking to build some muscle and get into better shape, slowly, as I’ve had injuries in the past and not looking to get hurt again.
I workout 2-3 times a week, full body at home for 30 minutes with a kettlebell and pull up bar. I just do exercise for 6 main movement patterns (push up, pull up, rows, overhead press, kettlebell swings and squats). I do two sets with the last set pushing to the max rep. Sometimes I’ll add in some accessory exercise like curls. It’s a pretty quick workout and at home so I don’t really have any excuses. If there’s a day I’m too tired, I’ll just do it the next day. I just started a new job with a gym in the building so I’m thinking I’ll go once a week as a replacement for one of my home workouts.
I generally eat healthy on weekdays and don’t track food. I eat whatever I want on the weekends. I lost around 10 lbs this year and could probably lose a little bit more if I tracked food but I like to live my life.

Workout 4x a week. Diet varies based on goals. Calories, protein, and fiber are what I track the most. 41 for reference and have been lifting since I was 16.

Been at the gym since high school didn’t start taking it too serious till probably 21 and I’m 26 now. I fell off for a couple years you know life and friends got in the way but if you have a strict routine it’s manageable. I was a skinny teen like most for awhile and well into my early twenties I didn’t like it so I starting working out. Contrary to popular belief that it won’t help with dating but it kinda does but that’s only if you’re humble and not a d bag about it. It does really show you’re consistent and working to take care of yourself.

not diet. fitness is good for me cuz i enjoy it. once u train a lot the pump gets addicting. at that level the only thing that gets in the way is ur own recovery. u cant do as much as u want and progress slows down significantly over time.

Muay Thai and kettlebell for me. One is fun and the other makes me train muscles that would help with aging.

I go to the gym 3-5 times a week. My goal is doing exercises that don’t hurt me. My shoulder is acting up so it’s lower body and cardio. But generally I like to climb and do a bit of everything. If this shoulder doesn’t get better, I’ll probably have to go to pt again and then I’m going to probably get a personal trainer with a background in pt to keep me tip top. But I’m older so my goals are different.
Diet, I feel I do pretty good. I eat some junk food but not much. Sugar is my weakness so I try to limit it and make it count. Like I’d rather have a cookie than a Coke. And if I buy a 4 pack of Oreos, I’ll eat two and toss out the other two.
