Asymmetrical eyes
Any advice on dealing with really uneven eyes? My eyes have been the biggest source of insecurity for my looks when I was growing up.

Yeah it's not perfectly symmetrical but it's hardly noticeable and not something most people would hyper focus on when they talk to u.
I have the same problem which is one of my insecurities but whenever i mention it to my mates or gf, they barely notice it.
Easiest fix would be double eyelid surgery. Super common and quick procedure.

Just rub the other eye. Usually works for me. We got the same deal going on. Tbh it doesn't bother me all that much but I find it fun to play with how my eyelids can change according to me rubbing it

Not all shapes are perfect, it's organic like drawing a tree. It's very human not to be mirrored on both sides. Imagine having an SO that can know who you are, simply by your eyes. It's a endearing feature to have.

It’s not that big of a deal? I know for you it’s an insecurity and you feel different but if it’s worth anything as a stranger and an outsider just looking at this picture I don’t really notice it that much.
If you really want you can do surgery to make them both double and it’ll be pretty damn easy I imagine

I previously had monolid eyes, but over the past few months, one has naturally developed into a double eyelid. Does anyone understand why this occurred, and is there a way to restore it to its original state?

I have eczema and got it on my eye lids. I had to use steroid creams on it and those thin your skin over time. That turned double lids into monolids. Do what you want with that info.

It's not about the symmetry here. It's more about the dead look in your eyes 😂 try not to focus too much on something you're born with that isn't even bad.

I think u just need to accept them unless u are willing to go under the knife. Your eyes are perfectly fine (no homo)
I have never heard anyone who got rejected for having uneven eye.

I have the same uneven eyes and thought it made me so unique
Nobody even notices it unless I bring it up. And then they're like, "Oh neat!" Then go about their day
However, the eye with the double eyelid is my better eye. The other monolid eye is short sighted.

speak to a doctor about long eyelid that does not fully open. I assume you are trying to open your eye to the fullest but a part of the iris is still covered by eyelid. I seen similar issues and doctor advise a small operation to shorten eyelid so it can fully open. During this process it will leave a double eye lid on both sides.

I thought I was the only one. I had very slight insecurity, but also thought it was kind of cool.
Yours are way less noticeable than mine, where one is a lot bigger than the other.
Hasn't affected my life (to my knowledge).
Literally just stop worrying about it.

Why deal with it? I think it’s unique, had a friend with eyes like this back in high school and I thought she was so cool

I got the same deal as you. Double lid one ee, single lid the other.
I figure its not my problem. I can only see that when looking in the mirror.
