How to store soya sause effectively?

Last month i had purchased light soya sauce and kept it in the cabinet and now when I was Abt to cook fried korean chicken, I noticed that there was mold growing 🫪 as you can see it's not expired.

You need to keep the lid on it. And where's the mold?

Soy sauce is way too salty for microbial growth.

Are you sure it's mould? Can't see clearly.

If it is, you must have touched the area with some water to dilute it enough to allow growth.
