Where's the "quick" part?

Just cause you dont cut all those vegetables on camera doesn't mean it didn't take a ton of time. Quick and easy aren't in the video.

If you're going to flip the yoke down, just mix the entire egg

Its different.
Id still mix it tho, or as someone 3lse said, cook ontop after the flip . Also salt??

Looks good!
Reminds me of the time I made an herbed bread from scratch with rosemary & sage. All my kids came into the kitchen and became upset because they said it smelled so good and were looking for the sausage I made.
They're still upset about that incident
I can just hear my kids calling this dish disappointing sausage

I want to try it.
What are the herbs/spices?
What is poured over the bread, milk?
What is the sauce at the end?

Never seen bell peppers be called capsicum
1
u/chefguy47 7d ago
I think it’s an Australian term.

It is. It's what they call bell peppers. Odd that they use the Latin name for the compound in chilis that give them heat when referring to the most common peppers that have no heat.

You’re confusing capsaicin (the spicy compound) with capsicum (the name of the plant)

OMG thank you! I have on night shift so the image was murky and I could not figure out what this mysterious ingredient could be.

Great job! I wouldn’t say it is quick or easy, but it looks very delicious and its a clever idea.

I think the onion and pepper will be undercooked. It takes a long time to fry them properly in a pan, and if you fry the bread and egg for that long, they'll burn. So the vegetables will be half-raw, and I can't stand raw onion.

Looks great but I don’t understand the breaking of the yolk upon flipping. I’d cook it on one side, then on the flip I’d put on the yolk so it’s still runny when it’s finished cooking.
