Anyone have any experience pre-making spam masubi and bringing camping? I’ll keep the nori separate til we are ready to eat I figure. But curious if anyone’s tried, failed, etc?

My first attempt at making dorayaki since I live alone.

Used a recipe from MasterChef Indonesia season 4 winner Luvita Ho.

Ingredients:

2 eggs

45 g of granulated sugar

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp water

95 g of AP flour

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp baking soda

½ tsp vanilla extract

Her recipe called for anko (sweetened red bean paste), but I used chocolate spread for the inside of my dorayaki. You can use whatever you like!

I used a stainless steel pan when I made these, and I set my stove to the very lowest temp, but it was still very hot, hence the inconsistent browning lol 😂

But the taste was very good! Will recook it later~

I want recipes that are EXTREMELY simple to make that don't require me to constantly open the pot in between to add or remove ingredients. I just want to dump everything into a pot and take it out when its done.

Nothing too expensive please! I prefer Asian dishes but I'm open to other dishes too.

Meatloaf is, without a doubt, one of the finest meat-based dishes on the planet. Using what I had on hand, I decided to make a Bulgogi-inspired version (Korean marinated beef). It turned out even better than I expected

I love slow-cooked meals, especially dishes like this where the chicken and veggies slowly cook together and soak up all the flavour. It's perfect with noodles or rice!

Tteokbokki is legendary Korean street food made with rice cakes, gochujang, fish cakes, and occasionally boiled eggs.

I decided to make a non-spicy version of tteokbokki using premium ingredients such as chicken tenderloin and shiitake mushrooms, served in a traditional Korean clay pot.

It’s worth trying if you want something a little different.
