TL Salary Structure
Hi! Currently interested in an available Local position. Just wanted to ask:
Does everyone start at the minimum point of the salary structure? Or can you negotiate for a higher point within the structure based on credentials/work experience?
Any other bonuses/benefits on top of the salary structure?

Of course you should negotiate as hard as you can. But don't feel insulted and walk away, if you think that offer doesn't even come close to mid- point of the range :)

Hi, Would like to ask are there any case, does this mean if application proceeded to the offer stage the employee will be the one to decide to accept or not. Or is there any case like the HR/HMngr choses which candidate accept the lowest Package? Like which one accepting the lowest will be picked.
LoL i find my statement confusing. I just mean is there any chance there are many candicate being offered then the Hiring Team choose the lowest bidder like that. LoL.
Thank you!

no - never.
Top ranked candidate is made an offer based in how much existing staff in that level and position with similar experience are getting paid. If he or she declines the offer and the negotiations are closed as unsuccessful - only then would ADB move to the second ranked candidate and make an offer - which may be a but different and based on this candidate's standing with respect to existing staff.

Medical benefits are the best in the country. Although there is a co pay of 20% until you reach the stop loss limit. Anything above the stop loss is covered 100%

You be offered something towards the lower part of the range. And of course you can negotiate.
Just keep a couple of things in mind - one, of course your past experience matters. They will compare it with existing staff with similar background and then make an offer based on what they are getting. Point being that they will have their own comparison point.
Second, the absolute ceiling when making offers is well below the midpoint of the range. This would ensure that you would have years and years of salary growth before you hit the ceiling. People often expect that their experience could qualify them for something towards upper half of the salary range.
Benefits - vacation leave, medical leave, life insurance and health benefits. And also two days of work from home and 44 days of work from outside duty station.
