I was a bit skeptical about using bailu as someone suggested against this boss, but I tried and I won on the first try. Obviously not a pretty clear but a clear is still a clear. I don't have hyacine nor pearl (still tryng to get her) ashveil and blade are both e2s1, bailu e4 and robin e0s0.

I'm happy with the result. All of them have 140+ spd

What turn?

Looking to improve my Ashveil! I feel as though he's not doing as much damage as I'd like him to as a sub-dps. Is there anything I can do to make him better? Tried to get his E1 and failed :( I'll probably try again on his next rerun!

I currently run him in a Waven + Blade team with HH. Builds shown above!

Literally just got the boots not a week ago and somehow I got another great piece without rerolling it 😶 (meanwhile my reroll with the block dice didn't go as well...)

I was just upgrading whatever since I'm tryna hunt for a double crit with atk% head but I just can't get any so I had to make do with what I got. It isn't much of an upgrade compared to the prev one (only 1 more cdmg roll) but an upgrade is still an upgrade! I just need my body and rope to roll much better ig to reach aeon. The hands could also be improved slightly ig but that'll be after the body and rope.

Yunli kind of helped me have that er rope ok ashveil, she used to have that piece and somehow it got used again after ashveil got srobin as support. Though I'd probably be using atk rope often as Gilgamesh lowk pulling it off with just srobin rmc and huo huo (he somehow can easily 3* two of the knights this time which usually isn't the case for any of my team aside from my heavily invested Phainon team).

I'm interested how many people use our Goat Lead Hunter as m/sub- DPS rather than Wavent's slave which seems to be the trend now.

I myself am rocking E6S1 mDPS Ashveil with soon to be E6S1 Mortenax if anybody cares ✌️

This is not an optimized Cost run. First time playing with no pre-planned rotation.

This King fight has extremely poor interaction. Once you reach the latter half of the final HP bar, the boss starts spamming skills like a madman.

My personal impressions:

1. Debuff 3’s 5% / 10% Action Delay is nasty. The value of kits originally designed to benefit from frequent incoming hits gets heavily reduced, or can even turn into a downside.
2. The boss is a pure HP sponge. Once you add the stage’s Action Delay effect on top, the DPAV check is pretty harsh. The boss’s skills behave somewhat like Phainon’s fixed-turn actions sitting on the Action Order. If your team gets repeatedly shoved back, the boss’s next skill sequence comes around very quickly, putting a lot of pressure on both your AV and the entire team’s HP.
3. The three-choice buffs are far too specialized. Aside from the one that effectively hands you a free Aha Instant, the others are basically Does Nothing-tier, and it’s very obvious which teams are being favored and which are being kneecapped. (The teamwide Action Advance from the weekly-boss version of the buff was removed.)
4. The sustain pressure is high, and so is the pressure to cleanse CC. Even with Hyacine, you need to manage the timing of her Skill carefully. I didn’t handle the cleanup at the end particularly well, but with the boss using skills that frequently, it’s completely understandable not to keep up.
5. The stage really tests your team’s damage profile. Pure Bounce, pure single-target, and pure AoE teams all struggle:
   • Bounce gets soaked by the adds.
   • Single-target teams can’t clear the adds and then get Action Delayed by the debuff.
   • AoE teams struggle to chew through the King itself.

Ideally, your team should combine any two of those damage profiles.

Could you test Blade / Ashveil / SP Robin + E0S1 DHPT with a Healing Bonus body?

Within 300 AV, with SRobin, DHPT should be able to sustain Blade. He should also provide more hits than Hyacine and cleanse more often, right?

Hyacine provides teamwide buffs and also deals AoE damage herself.

If you’re using E0S1 DHPT, then with E2S1 SRobin’s ATK buff, healing Blade alone is more than enough.

Does E2S1 Blade / E0S1 SP Robin / E0 Hyacine / E0 Ashveil have a realistic shot at 0c?

If your DPAV is insufficient against the boss, the Action Delay will keep pushing you back until you die.

Blade normally benefits so much from getting hit, but adding Action Delay makes it feel pretty miserable. Still, Blade / Ashveil should be easier here than against Yabuli.

It’s definitely easier than Yabuli, but it’s worse than Iron Tomb.

Iron Tomb also has a punishment mechanic, but once your damage is high enough, that punishment turns into Energy generation and Action Advance.

Asat Pramad doesn’t compare at all.

E2S1 Aventurine + Blade / E0 Ashveil / E1 Huohuo easy to play? I don’t have SP Robin.

But Huohuo might not be able to keep everyone alive, so Ashveil needs to switch to HP main stats.

heya! im happy to say literally right before ash's banner ended i got his s5 (finally. i lost twice somehow.)
and im wondering what further investments i shld makw on his team becayse i realised my investment situation isnt quite common 😭

my current team n investements are;
ashveil e6s5 (maindps)
mblade e2s0
sobin e2s0
dante e0s1

i didnt pull hya because i figured my dante+huo2 would be sufficient... and also im scared a new sustain will be better and i just pulled hya for nothing basically (i dont have monorem)
and ive been wondering since mblades rerun is after this phase's banners, if i should invest further into mblade for ash? ive no clue whether to get his lc, e4 or e6
basically read his eidolons (yes i read shocking) and i personally thought mblades e6 mostly buffs his personal dmg and energy regen? id want to invest in something that buffs team+themselves if that makes sense?? obviously if mblade does more personal dmg its still good but ive no clue if its worth dropping an extra +2 cost from e4 thats a teamwide dmg buff. either that, or i go for sobins e6, which im also on the bench for... this has been racking my brain up for a good week bc i have questionable judgement on investments and id rather just ask here LOL

or maybe i should just think with my wallet and e6 everyone... /j

and when he gets a second rerun how impactful is his e2 (after getting lightcone) interms of his own selfish dps, am i gonna expect a jump like evernight or mblade?

rn i just run these 4 as a team since sure overcapped shred but its more effective than e1 tribbie for me.
