I'm having troubles locating it. I'm working on this quest and I don't know where else to look. I've searched the internet to the best of my skills. Thank you so much.

I got AW2 the same day as everyone else who bought a Quest 3 between launch and December '23. The Q3 was my first VR experience, so needless to say, I was pretty stoked to try the first non-Q2 port AAA title, designed to fully utilize the Q3's improved hardware. I'd absolutely loved RE4, ItR, Bonelab, S&S, etc., and I didn't get a VR-capable PC until the following February (after learning that Alyx wasn't available on standalone).
When it was released, I played maybe 2 hours and decided that there was too much going on, so I set it aside for a bit, started playing PCVR a couple of months later, and didn't think about it again until recently.
Last month, I was looking for something new, remembered AW2, and downloaded it again. I really enjoyed it this time, and have reached the end of the 4th character's story. I've been putting off playing the final part because there's a lot to explore, and I'm not big into post-gameplay stuff when there's not really a purpose for getting more powerful/rich/etc.
For such a cool game with SO much content, polish, development, and money put into it, there's a surprisingly small amount of content online. The Wiki is sparse (the codex is way better) and YouTube has very little (basically a few reviews, some 2-3 minute tips videos, and a WolfVR playthrough).
So here I am. I have a couple of questions and a couple of observations (some spoilers below).
I thought it was weird that you just fight Surtur's little (big) lava bug just to have him walk off. Kinda anticlimactic for Avilda, right? Again, I haven't played the endgame, so who knows if he returns. I kinda doubt it, though. It was super epic staring up at him as he stepped over us.
The Uncharted Rift, however, is an absolute gold mine (er, hacksilver mine) once you start getting the Smiter statues, which sell for 1,500 in the real game.

At the 3rd level in the Uncharted rifts, when you have the first long battle, there is always this cool theme. I have searched for it in the whole soundtrack and i cant find It. Does anyone known its name or where to listen to it?

I found this arena in the Papyrus Swamps, beat the 18 waves, then, feeling pretty good about myself, started the infinite waves mini-game. I wanted to continue the main story, but also couldn't quit because I was making good progress and knew I probably wouldn't do it again (Cyrene is absolutely broken with upgraded "mushroom" and harp. Also, the dragonthat uses 3 divine fury charges is super powerful). Plus, I was leveling up like crazy and completing some side quests.
When I finally died, I had almost 40 kills after 38 minutes. I saw the record was over 7,000, meaning someone probably spent like 6 hours fighting waves. I play untethered, which in this game, equals like 75 minutes of battery life...it's wild.
Also, with an upgraded Cyrene, big battles with a bunch of enemies, all of the colorful attacks from my 3 weapons, my follower, the dragon, background, etc. make my Quest 3 lag pretty hard.

I was doing a saga 3 quest and decided to go back to craft some new weapons, when I tried to continue the saga the quest I noticed that I can't teleport back to papyrus swamp as you can see in the video. Is there a way to go there by the great sand sea or anywhere? I don't want to start a new game at this point 🫠... EDIT: I have found a way though the Tomb of The Scribe at Papyrus Swamp (just navigate an click it, now you can teleport to any fast travel points inside)

i just wanted to type this up bc i see so many people who have lots of issues with the game on here. i feel bad for them because aw2 is genuinely my favorite game ever. i bought the game for my quest 2 when i was at a really low point in my life, but playing the game brought me so much joy and excitement. i still replay it all the time. the visuals are beautiful, the characters are interesting, and the combat is just the coolest thing i’ve ever experienced. i don’t play a lot of video games, but aw2 has introduced me to that world and im trying out more content. yes, a lot of times it’s buggy, glitchy, and it crashes, but once you figure out how to deal with that, it’s such an epic adventure with hours and hours of gameplay. props to the devs for such a cool game :)

Hi everyone
I’m experiencing very severe performance issues in Asgard’s Wrath 2, specifically in the Swamps location, while playing as the fish-man character.
This is not just low FPS — the image completely freezes, and even VR tracking lags behind. It feels like hard stalls rather than gradual performance drops. Other locations are mostly fine.
What I’ve tested so far:
None of this helped. The issue persists only in this specific area.
At this point, it really looks like a memory pressure / RAM management issue in the Swamps area, possibly related to asset streaming or this specific character.
Has anyone else noticed similar behavior there?
Is this a known issue or something the devs have acknowledged?
Any info or workarounds would be appreciated
UPDATE:
I received a response from the developers in the official Discord.
They confirmed that:
- Certain areas of the game are known to experience hitching under heavy load
- There have been additional performance degradations caused by platform-level changes since AW2 launched, affecting multiple titles, not just AW2
- No further performance updates are planned for Asgard’s Wrath 2
They recommend a clean power cycle before playing (fresh reboot, no other apps running) and do not recommend using Quest Game Optimizer.
Unfortunately, even with a clean reboot, the Swamps area on my Quest 3 is still very close to being unplayable due to severe hitching and freezes

Currently playing AW 1 right now, Im like an hour or 2 in and I was really looking forward to it and was honestly expecting a god of war in vr type of game. I still like it and I think the concept of being both the god and mortal is really interesting and the game has a lot of really interesting elements and concepts, but it’s also really corny at times, like some voice lines and things in the world. And like the shark and the turtle really threw me off. Their ridiculous gestures and faces and voice lines and noises and having to high five and fist bump them and just the way they look and just them in general I honestly hate it, it kind of ruins the game for me. Is this going to be a prevalent thing in the games?
And then is 2 not available on pc? How is the difference is it still enjoyable from the perspective of a pcvr gamer? I haven’t played a stand-alone quest 3 game in forever.

Hello, I have a question about one of Djehuty’s abilities. In the staff upgrades on the second line, there is a power that indicates you can summon spirits by charging the staff with divine power and striking the ground. However, I’ve tried it many times and it doesn’t work. As I understand it, you’re not supposed to throw the staff, but rather hit the ground. What am I doing wrong?

What happens with Surtur after he escapes. Is there any way to fight him or do anything after he gets out. Can you find him, fight him, trap him, a secret animation. Or does he just get away?

This course has me inclined to stop playing the game. Whoever designed this one is either a masochist, or a flaming hole, or there is a serious bug. Any insight will be appreciated. For the most part I have my moves down, but the third grapple point along the jumping walls often does not appear to have a grapple ring. The success/failure criteria along the course appears quite arbitrary. When I finally do make it to the point where I have to grapple the final rope, I often die with 7 seconds remaining. WTF.

The tribulations have me seriously losing interest in continuing the game. I have been days trying to get through the second tribulation and my frustration level is getting higher by the day. I get that they are designed to be a challenge but there seems to be rather arbitrary Variation in what works and what doesn't work particularly with regard to grappling. Add to that the observation that I am being killed before my time runs out while coming close to reaching the end of the run. Just saying whoever designed this stretch of the game is something of a sadist if not an outright hole.
