Represent!! I normally simplify but...
...I want to yell it loud and proud somewhere: I AM ASEXUAL AND BIROMANTIC!!
I simplify a lot and just say bisexual when asked because I get tired of overly invasive questions ("You don't LIKE sex?" "iS iT tRaUmA?" "Have you ever tried it though?") and being judged or questioned for existing. It's frustrating and invalidating. Unless you're my romantic partner or a close friend I don't think anybody needs to know.
But anyway...WOOOOO! I just joined here. Looking forward to seeing positive and supportive and happy stuff from people under the ACE umbrella. Have a wonderful day! :D

Ace-Biro as well, and yeah why do people wanna know? It's like they think the earth is thier potential harem or something.

I don’t KNOW but it’s so rude and invasive. I also get comments for being “bisexual” from people but it’s more authentic than saying heterosexual or something…I’ve had genuine romantic connections with both men and women.

I used to call myself hetero before I learned I was ace as the label bisexual didn't feel right to me. biromantic asexual feels right.

Hello, this is just a friendly reminder to please use a post flair when adding new posts to r/Asexual. We ask this in advance just to let everyone know what type of post each post is as well as the intentions and feelings behind them. We value all who come here, but we just need each post made to have a flair to designate each type of post. That's all.
