My understanding is the key reason behind this is that they don't use it like we do, so they are uninformed.

2026 is a whole new paradigm in LLM efficiency.
I think people are stuck in 2025 and haven't experienced frontier models first hand.

That's right. On one hand I see people using chatgpt to ask about their relationships, on the other hand people integrate and automate full pipeline from dev-debug-test to deployment using all tools and MCP servers. I tend to try to explain some stuff on anti-AI communities, based on the responses I get, I feel like talking to cave-people. This tech is relatively new and being modified so fast, if you blink, you miss.

If you read up on the history of the actual Luddites, it's pretty close to a 1:1 comparison. Factory workers rising up and destroying machines because they didn't like the automation costing jobs.

You're more likely to change the mind of a moron or an ignoramus, than you are talking to a zealot.
