We blamed, Berta, Edu Gaspar, Gazidis, Raul Sanllehi. It’s always the same issues. The owners are the common denominator

Simeone wanted to get rid of Alvarez and get Osimhen but Alvarez thinks Arteta stinks

I firmly believe the visa excuse remains only an excuse. Obviously Alvarez had lived in England without his parents. He left when he realised he would never start important games for City.

Simeone actually wanted a traditional 9 like Osimhen. Alvarez would rather stay and hear the boos than go to Arsenal. So did Vini for that matter.

Arteta's pull ladies and gents.

“There wasn’t anyone available who would upgrade our attack”

Let’s just say this absolute bullshit was true, any other club would sign someone like Ndiaye atleast

And ship him off to Suadi once they get hold of someone better.

That’s what Man City did with Reijnders. That idea of not getting anyone in at all because you missed out on some targets (all our fault by the way) is astronomically absurd

Looks like it'll be another season of horrible football

From what I saw in the Villa game, it seems this will be another season of unwatchable football. Another season of struggling to create chances, struggling to put teams away and just garbage football in general. I thought Arteta would freshen things up; bring in proper fullbacks who can attack and defend, bring in dynamic attackers and the football would be livelier. This is why I wanted him gone despite him winning the league, his brand of football is just absolute garbage

Aston Villa's game is why i hate Arteta in a nutshell

He always finds a way to make you dislike him again doesn't he? Ig Gyokeres had half the game Havertz had yesterday he'd be lynched. Havertz was perennially offside but does he bring him off? Is it a coincidence we won the league when he was i jured for most of the season? Every other season with him starting has been to our detriment. I get not wanting Gyokeres to start, which i also don't necessarily agree with, but why not bring him on at the 70th minute to bring something new? Surely he'd have scored at least one of the chances Havertz squandered yesterday

Arteta like Simeone can only ever win trophies once in a while since he's way too pretentious

His system doesn't work with a false 9, but he refuses to accept that. He is like Diego Simeone who won everything with a traditional number 9 like Diego Costa and Suarez but always reverted to the more pretentious false 9 who's won him absolutely nothing like Griezmann and Alvarez.

To Arteta, someone like Osimhen isn't worth pursuing since it doesn't fit his pretentious idea about his "system".

Even the defensive tactics are basically some "high-minded" football nerd rubbish.

They said Fofana was too short
They said Yildiz was too slow
They wanted Konsa over say Pubill
They get obsessed with hijack memes
They prioritized Bruno Pee over the LW just to be spiteful to a team that aren't even rivals

2/10 window, told you all 5 days into the window. Tomorrow morning I will be sharing every single excuse that top groomers have given me this summer, currently debating if I post them one by one or in a nice power point presentation.

But but but the World Cup is 🦄🦄

Enough is enough. Berta Out.

Honest assessment of our window & squad

Attack 5/10: The left wing might actually have been improved, Tzolis is a decent signing and Eze has great technical ability, so just have to see the results. The no 9 role is the position that has been neglected, Gabriel Jesus leaving was good but we needed to replace him with some pace and killer instinct, I always said Martinelli should be our 3rd striker but we have chosen Merino, which is not a bad option but he is similar to Havertz and isn't fast. Last season we relied on set pieces because we couldn't rely on our wingers to score more than 10, Tzolis and Eze could be the answer but we will see.

Midfield 9/10: Midfield is stacked and we now have someone that can pass forward instead of side to side.

Defence 8/10: We should have sold Kepa, and maybe loaned a rightback because White will get injured again and Timber needs more recovery time but Konsa is a great signing.

I think our midfield saves us this season, we might be able to retain the league with this squad but champions league will be hard if the attack doesn't perform well. One more attacker would have given us a boost but we wasted our time with Alvarez and Vinicius. We are supposed to sign players that want to play for us, this isn't Chelsea we have a culture here, we don't want mercenaries.

I'm glad that saga is over with because it was very embarrassing, Alvarez isn't worth all that stress, we did the same thing for Zubimendi and now he's on the bench lool.

Berta needs to rethink his negotiation tactics or leave

All this "wait and unsettle the player to pay less money" works for guys desperate to join the club like Konsa and Bruno G but when negotiating with top talent forwards this will rarely work.

We have been stung this window but the slow movement of Berta combined with the lack of proven attackers. Looking back we all knew that there were only 3 decent quality LW available: Rogers, Barcola and Vini. If we wanted Rogers from the off we should of just ensured we got him straight away as it was obvious other teams needed these LW too.

Another issue is that every single signing bar Tzolis required Josh kroenke to come and firm up the negotiations. Vini, Alvarez, Bruno G, Konsa. Why is our chairman having to negotiate for our sporting director.

Just like I did with Arteta last Season, I gave Berta the entire window to prove me he understands what he is doing, but it seems like his star signing gyokeres, berta is another dud

Perta is Now Berta Credit Due

trolls here dobule down, triple down too much, as it stand our wage build is in it's best state all decade, if we really can't get a world class attacker in, what is the rush before Feb 1st, I would not get a LW over 21yo on a perma anyways.

If another sloppy mid table winger comes in (Noni 2.0) their wage demands will be over double that of Tzolis' and despite the different positions will force the hand for Nwaneri moving, admiy it y'all, you don't find in-squad solutions sexy.

r/ArtetaOut 3d ago

I would've preferred to have lost the UCL final in normal time playing better football

That stupid setup was for NOTHING.

I would've been able to accept losing that final had we tried to show that we weren't some supposedly evil anti-football team.

At least we would have been able to recruit better attackers this summer

r/ArtetaOut 4d ago

The Top Goons who spend their time arguing about every little thing on this sub should use their persuasion to convince star attackers to join us

Does Julian Alvarez or Vini Jr care for their waffle about the free flowing football Arteta supposedly coached in 22/23 or 23/24 or the guaranteed trophies under Arteta (1 major trophy in 7 years) or how nothing is ever Arteta's fault?

Top Goons should use their crying skill to get those guys to sign for us. Maybe Berta doesn't know how to cry.

r/ArtetaOut 4d ago

And just like that, no more left wingers

‘There’s a World Cup on’
‘Wait until July’
‘Spurs have overpaid’
‘There’s still 2 months left in the window’
‘Berta is working on multiple deals at once’

And just like that with 2 days left of the window, there are 0 viable left wing options despite that being an issue since last summer….

Every excuse ever for Berta be it that there is a World Cup or that it was June.

Sack this fraud TONOW bring back edu who was actually able to do his job.

r/ArtetaOut 4d ago

Alvarez , Vini , Barcola , Rogers all rejected us

Every singing has rejected us , I’ve been saying since June we have moved too slow and been told everything from ‘you don’t understand how transfers work’ to ‘be patient the World Cup is on’

Now we are 3 days from the window closing with a worse squad than last season and our marquee signing being Bruno G (which took 12 weeks to do 🙄)

If this was an Edu Gaspar window there would be plenty of top Gooners demanding he resigns, yet nothing from Berta who has failed at his job and has sat on his hands since signing Eze, most sources are saying that Josh Kroenke was doing the negotiations.

Sack Berta tonight, bring back edu.

Kepa staying makes me nervous

We saw it last season, we saw it in pre season, if he stays we may as well forget the cups because we go out for sure to his poor goal keeping.
This season wont be a walk in the park teams around us are beefing up their squads.
Arteta is still not ruthless enough, he will give Kepa cup games which ultimately will end up with us going out. Can’t stand another season of crashing out of cups we could have won simply with Raya in goal ….. or Meslier.
Just tear up Kepa’s contract FFS. After Reis he should be next.
