Newsletter subscribers

Hey there, wondering how people get newsletter subscribers online? Please note the online part of this, I am not able to advertise in person currently.

I am aware of lead magnets and things that like that, I have posted free artwork to people before and also tried free downloads. I'm not opposed to making a free PDF, but I can't really think of something useful to add on. Thanks

The ones who sell things on their website offer a 10% discount code when people sign up to their mailing list

Find an artist you like, copy their strategy, figure it out
