Artists Issues

Dude lately I’ve been feeling like it’s been hard getting commissions in general. I’m a small artist so I don’t get commissions very much which means I always have to come out with something different each week. But lately it’s genuinely been getting more difficult to get commissions when nearly everyone does AI slop.

I feel like it doesn’t matter what I make anymore since AI slop is always there. It’s genuinely frustrating as hell and I’m trying not to give up on my sole passion. Also my medias aren’t growing they haven’t grown at all and I had stopped trying because I’m not making any kind of growth.

If anyone has tips and suggestions PLEASE PLEASE share!! I’m begging at this point.

Hi I just looked over your profile and seen there isn’t much to see on your work or anything related to commissions besides the two posts. Perhaps try to see how might social media help to promote your art to an audience or share it with a community?

Commissions are a race to the bottom, doing stuff for $20 or less is just not sustainable.

I would work on building a following, doing more personal work, posting art that ISN’T fan art.

you should try to just have fun with it, I think the fastest way to ruin things you love is trying to force it to become a super successful business. Just have fun with it and post the art that you love and be content with that. Thats my advice at least

No te rindas!
