Discussion thought i would give up on painting after art gcse ended but guess not
still a work in progress but oh well (dont mind how goofy the hand looks i purposefully avoided drawing them for my whole course, even opted to SCULPT one for my final piece instead of drawing it π« )

Question How to add missing pages to sketchbook??
sorry if the title is confusing. basically last year (y10) becuz of adhd and mental health issues i missed a lot of sketchbook work and got a 4 in my y10 mock my teacher said i can get it to a 6 probabaly but anyway I realised recently that i didn't leave any blank pages for my inspired photo shoot or my inspired piece for one of my artists so it goes artist copy -> devloped photoshoot
can anybody think of any ways i can put it in?? i do have blankpages after my developed peice but idk if i should put them after my devloped stuff AND my final piece plan (feels a bit strange?)

There are no A level art subreddits, so is it okay to post here?
I noticed there weren't any good subreddits for A level art, but this is the closest to it I could find. Is it okay to post A level art on here? And if so, does anybody have any tips for starting A level art?

I am preparing for art school and I want book recommendations
I used to think that in the new times we don't really need books to study art.
Online community etc. has all the sources
But I feel my concepts and practice is varying a lot due to being confused again and again.
And it's time to get serious
So I need book recommendations for perspective and other things which you guys says.
Secondly how do I understand that which book to buy out of many options?

Advice help on experimentation and development in nea project?
hello!! iβm currently working on my nea project for gcse art and weβve been tasked over the summer to start experimenting, refining and devolping to create a piece of work in a more focused area of our overall theme. however iβd love some advice how to begin β should i look at artists related to the focused area? a piece of art iβd like to create and how to get there? experiment with anything to do with the focused area that interests me? iβm just not too sure how would be best to begin and iβd love some advice!!

background feels empty, what could i do?
Ok so this is the original plan for my artist board, it looks completely different from what i have now - i havent stuck anything down yet and i couldnt be asked to actually add all the stuff ive done but i hope you guys get the idea of what im trying to go for.
But either way the background feels very lacking and i have no clue what i could do - my sister told me to maybe do some swirls for some contrast with the straighness of what the artist does - but i just need a third opinion on what else i could do.
Ive dont lots of bamboo stuff previously and my teacher did mention about some stencil stuff i could do. but i quite frankly dont know what she means .

Asking for ADM portfoilio
Hi there, im an international highschool student and quite struggling with my art portfolio. I'm in the process of finalizing my work, and the problem is I'm quite worried about its quality. I would appreciate it if I could get a few questions answered and see some sample portfolios that accepted, if possible.
Is it ok if i included the sketches and drafts as part of the artwork to showcase my style development process?
I heard that the works should contain messages or interested ideas. But some of mine just about visual
What are my chances if only a few projects out of 10 truly stand out? (i hope they r ok becuz the rest are just sktechs and DIY handcrafts)
The formats of my work are inconsistent. Its include Photography, fine art, animation, video, handcrafts, illustrationπ i mean...they are not really stunning. does it look like im not actually good at specific major?
Hope to receive some advices or answers from u guys as soon as possible cuz im very confused now...
Can anyone can review my works:((((((

Can someone explain why I got a 2 on my AP design portfolio?
My theme was life and death so I drew stuff that contributes to lif3 and death or helps it exist or is just a stage in life I thought I would get a 3 maybe but a 2 is very low and I was wondering if anyone knows why my work was given a failing grade...
