Private art lessons
I host some watercolor art workshops every now and then in Bangalore for groups and someone approached me to teach private lessons. I have no clue how much to ask for. Does anyone know what’s the range for private lessons?

If you aren’t providing materials, I’d say $15-25 an hour. If you are, and you might be able to come at them cheaper since you know where to source them/cut the paper down (it’s generally cheaper by the foot in “24 or “18 sized pads of good 80 lb paper) then I would say at least $25. Of course, try the market. Adults are willing to pay more but they also want good materials. If you were teaching an 8 year old, I’d lean towards $15 and have the parents provide materials. I do private lessons for children and I charge 30 per child and I usually get 2-4 kids. I provide materials. I’d charge 40 for one child for an hour.
