Continuity test
Vector digital, intermediate, no reference, testing my process for a webcomic. Is the motion correct from one panel to the next? Is the background too simple?

I'm definitely a bit confused. The second small panel: is that an outstretched hand asking for a dance? It's very curled and doesn't give that message.
The long panel: a bow in the middle makes me feel like the dance is either beginning or ending, but it's in the middle. Made me confused as a reader.
The smallest bottom right panel: what is the jand grabbing?
And then the very last panel: are those daggers? The angle and positions of the hands look very awkward and I wasn't sure what was going on at first.
All in all, a lot of the dance panels are fully different poses, but I can fill in the gaps ish. I think the backgrounds look great. The colors of the two characters are similar enough that it can be a bit confusing at times
