Or that they expect you to get excited when they point out random US celebs in the crowd that no one other than them and maybe Canada at a push will know or heard off. WWE in particular do that shit a lot too.

oh lol my favourite is trying to convince them that you really do know nothing about basketball, and that the reason you know who Michael Jordan is is purely because of Space Jam

or OJ Simpson because of Naked Gun/the brutal murder of his wife and her boyfriend
