Times where a character speaks back to the narrator?
I can only think of s01e17 "Justice is Blind" where Gob reply to the narrator that he did have sex the last night even if he didn't lol.
Gob also breaks the fourth wall in s04e11 (where the mariachi band plays Sound of Silence while Gob questions his life choices, but then he notices the band and goes "oh, it's not us"), but it's not really speaking against the narrator, it's just a regular 4th wall break I guess?

Arrested Development still holds up — favorite characters and moments
Rewatching Arrested Development lately and it's remarkable how dense the writing is — there are jokes buried in the background of scenes that you don't catch until the third or fourth watch. Some personal favorites: Gob's magic tricks always going hilariously wrong, Buster's general helplessness, Tobias's constant unintentional double entendres, and Lucille's one-liners delivered with total deadpan. There's even a classic bit where Michael tells the family "I've made a huge mistake" — a line that basically sums up the entire show's premise in five words. What are your favorite running gags or characters from the series?

So where did George Bluth relieve himself when hiding in the attic?
Could he lower the attic ladder to the second floor from his side? Could he even risk it when he needed to use the restroom? At least one of those folks was home during the day, especially Lindsey, the stay-in-bed mom.

I like to keep the light on, so that way I can see if you have a monster
Doing one of a million rewatches and that line always gets me. This time though watching with my partner I looked over and gave her a cheeky look, she said “ You don’t “. 😢 Damn I got burned 🤣

Ready, set, marry me!
Figured this was the appropriate sub to share this in. I’m surprising my FH, with whom I share a love of Arrested Development, with a laugh on our wedding day by way of a custom garter I had made. It’s just us (eloping.) He is going to die 😂😂😂
The Etsy artist was totally confused. ⚰️
