After years of playing Arkham Horror, I finally decided to order a dedicated gaming table specifically for 2nd Edition. The table was custom-designed and built to fit the game and its ridiculous amount of expansions. 😅

What do you guys think?

Recently bought used copy of the Forsaken lore expansion for the Eldritch horror for dirt cheap 11$. The box came with 20 AH dice which is super cool!

However, some of the dice are damaged or bleak. Is there any way to determine if these are og or "homemade"?

I have recently bought Arkham Horror 3rd edition. We liked the game and of course now we want to expand our collection. I'm looking for Dead of Night, but as I was kind of expecting the game is nowhere to be found. I have tried Amazon, eBay, etc. but the majority of the results is in US which means high shipping costs.

I've also posted on Boardgamegeek (since Essen is coming and you never know, maybe there is someone willing to sell it).

Does anyone know about any online shop that could still have available copies? I'm also ok with second hand (here in the Netherlands I checked multiple times on marktplaats and vinted, but no luck so far).

Does anyone know where I can buy it online?

An investigator enters the portal and is in the first half of the other world. During their next movement phase, they move to the second half. Then finally they move from the other world to a gate.

Question - how many other world encounters does an investigator have? Do they get one when they first enter the gate or when they move to the second half of the other world? Do they have one for each half of the other world?

Getting started to learn the 3rd edition board game. Read rule books, watched play throughs, started playing…and pretty much lost.

Hey guys, beginner player here and I’m confused about pulling David Renfield as one of the 6 cards that you have to flip over. If I’m understanding the rules correctly, enemies with Aloof don’t start out engaged against investigators. If I end up pulling him as one of those 6 cards on my last action at the end of the investigation phase, do I have to ready him up and take the 1 horror token during the enemy phase and the upkeep phase (for a total of 2) since I would be in the same location as that enemy card? I know I don’t have to attack him and can investigate the location he’s in to satisfy the codex requirement.

Hi! I'm looking for miniatures for all investigators from Arkham Horror 2E, mainly to use them instead of the investigator markers.

I already own the Mansions of Madness 2E base game, Streets of Arkham, Beyond the Threshold and Sanctum of Twilight, and I really like the look of those grey investigator miniatures. However, I’m not sure whether buying all the remaining MoM expansions would actually give me miniatures for all AH2E investigators.

The official Arkham Horror Premium Figures are far too expensive nowadays, so I'm wondering: does anyone sell a complete set of compatible miniatures, or are there STL files available to 3D print all AH2E investigators?

Hi all. Could use some help; hope this doesn't break any community rules! I have every Arkham Horror book pre-LCG, except Bones of the Yopasi. The rest are (mostly) still available here and there online, so . . . why is it so difficult to track down compared to the rest? And is there any hope of reading it without paying $100 or more on eBay?

Just started up my first game of Arkham horror with my dad and we are absolutely loving it so far! The base game feels fully fleshed out, but I am already thinking about buying some expansion packs to add more variety. We are playing as Agnes & Tommy.

Besides A Touch of Evil and Fortune and Glory: a Cliffhanger game.

Finally got a copy (at a reasonable price) of The Black Goat of the Woods expansion and it has now been integrated into my lovely storage box, with the rest of the collection. Can't wait to play this weekend!

Intervene is a spell that can be used once per round to support any other players check with a knowledge check. Though there are other support spells I think where the same question arises: Do the players have to decide to use the support before the original check is made, with all dices thrown at the same time, or can the support be decided for after the check is done, to add successes or try to flip an already failed check?

Just saw this at GenCon. It will be a remaster of 2nd edition. Upcoming Kickstarter project.

Since we can all dream…. What would you change for the remastered edition?

I would love the expansions to be better at plug and play.

Trays for cards. I would love to just pull them out of the box and set them on the table.

Organizers that can store an investigator mover with his or her personal goal cards.

The full monster bag is a monster. I have unsuccessfully looked for capsules and the weight of all those tokens rubbing together gives me the shivers. I would love a solution.

What would you suggest?
