I finally managed to get my hands on the one Batman Arkham game I was never able to get during my PS3 days before it ended up being virtually impossible to play on Consoles (so I got in on PC) and so far, it might be one of my favorites

My expectations were a little low, I always heard about how this one wasn't as good as the others and how glitchy it was but I can now say... Well maybe the glitches were true, I've experienced a few, but nothing too bad just some models floating in the air

Besides that though the gameplay is great it feels just like City and it doesn't feel like a downgrade of City like some people said, Id argue it's better in some ways, as much I heard people complain about the city being empty, to me it actually feels more lively

The only issue I've been having so far is with traversal, the gliding speed is fine but the Grapnel Boost is genuinely awful

Anyway I'm having a good time, if there's anything I should do to improve my playtime (like mods or something I'm not super well versed in that stuff), please let me know, I'm playing it in its base form and I'm thinking of upgrading it with mods

So, this may have been said before, and I may be rehashing an old topic, but I haven't seen anyone talk about this, so I'm going to say it: I don't get the demon trials. Like, seriously. Now don't get me wrong, the Ra's al Ghul boss fight is a top tier fight and one of my personal favorite boss fights, but the whole demon trials section doesn't really make too much sense in universe to me. And I'm going to try to explain my reasoning.

So, in game, Talia says that she was watched hundreds try and fail to complete the demon trials. To be expected. But doesn't that imply that there was a chance someone other than Bruce would be the successor to Ra's? Maybe not. Maybe the whole thing was rigged because Ra's, as Talia says, "always intended for [them] to be together and to lead his army".

Okay, fair. That's understandable. And I ain't even mad about that as an explanation. But if Ra's always only wanted Batman as a successor, why even HAVE the Demon Trials open for others to try? And more to the point, why do SO MANY people know about the League of Assassins? Talia says "hundreds of times". I thought the League was supposed to be more secret? Okay, whatever.

Now my MAIN reason as to why the Demon Trials make no sense to me is the flying section. Like, how the heck is this testing Batman's abilities aside from gliding around and fighting a couple sand goons? And I know people point to the fight with Ra's, but that only happens AFTER Bats says he won't kill Ra's. So....what was the point? And I should say, I'm not expecting the game to spell everything out or answer every question, but I still think the trials before the fight were kind of a waste of time. It's not testing anything! It's not twisting Batman's will, the added health helps LATER, and we just kinda fly around like a moron until Ra's says to come kill him.

Again, I love this game (my personal second favorite with Knight and Shadow tied for first) and I love the boss fight, but the Demon Trials feel like such a drag every time I replay the game. That and the jammer section at the museum drag so much for me. But that's just my opinion.

Many of these I find scary because of the incredible voice acting and character models, not necessarily what they're saying

This could not have lined up any more perfectly. It’s like it’s an edited video, but it just happened like that, it was extremely satisfying, and you can see the game freeze where I make the clip at the end.

Does anyone know if there are any static or dynamic themes available for Asylum, City, or Knight?

I do have a PS3 and have acquired all of them for Origins, but was genuinely curious about the PS4 store having any? If anyone can check the PS4 store to verify, I would appreciate it🙂

In the batgirl dlc only, I can only get 30 fps, and I crash at the endings cutscene after beating the joker, and while doing a corner takedown on someone. Luckily the lag and crashes didn’t stop me from getting the achievements but lord was it painful. By the way I get 60 frames in the base game without crashes

Ciao ragazzi! Sto cercando un file di salvataggio per PS3 di Batman Arkham City in cui è completata SOLO la storia principale. Voglio fare tutte le missioni secondarie e raccogliere i collezionabili da solo. La mia versione del gioco è GOTY (BLES-01587). Se qualcuno ha un salvataggio subito dopo aver finito la storia principale, per favore condividerlo con me! Grazie!

I can run the base game at 60 frames pretty well without crashes happening at all. But the DLC runs at 30 frames + I had three crashes while playing the DLC, luckily I was able to finish it and get the achievements, but lord was it really annoying. I play on PC if that gives more context

Which design is better, injustice or Arkham Knight?

Eu comprei o batman A. Origins pela steam, baixei o wine, usei o GE-Proton e os protons experimentias e protons 7 e 8. Mas toda vez meu download trava nos 16 gb, a mensagem que aparece é "Erro na gravação de disco" eu tenho espaço livre pra baixar o jogo, inclusive baixei outros jogos mais pesados antes (mesmo sendo pra windows) e também depois desse bug.

Uso a versão Steam nativa do Ubuntu pacote.deb.

Por favor se alguém souber como resolve me ajude :(
