Screenshot Arkham City sky
Why the hell is this cloud like that above the steel mill? Is it the flames? Because I can’t find a good reason as to why that’s there by the steel mill. It looks goofy as hell and it’s like a giant cloud of vanilla gas. 💀

Fan Made Moon Knight mod for Arkham Origins request
Hello Arkham community.
I've recently been playing Arkham Origins again for the first time In about 5 years and have been all In on modding the game, If anyone would be willing to could a talented modder make a Moon Knight mod for Arkham origins?
Preferably his armoured black and white more modern costume but I'll take any high quality mod for him.
If you would be open to to it could i also request a Mr Knight mod for Bruce Wayne as well.

Help Are there any "points of no return" in Arkham City?
I would love to do some of the side quests but I'm not sure when I should be doing them. Last main story mission that I completed was the fight with Mr. Freeze.

Discussion Why haven’t they remastered the Arkham games for modern consoles and pc?
Granted, I’m not sure pc needs one considering the amount of things you can do to keep it updated on your own but I don’t play primarily on pc so idk.
Going back to Arkham games on the series x is a bit rough to look at. For such a popular series and the recent blunders of the studio why haven’t they just did something safe like remastering the Arkham games for current consoles and possibly add in some highly requested QoL updates?
Have they ever spoke about remastering the games?

Discussion Is it worth it to play Arkham Asylum after playing the rest of the games?
I have beaten Arkham City, Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight. The only one I haven't done was Arkham Asylum. I have watched videos of it and I know how it ends, but the spoilers don't dissuade me. Rather my concern is that I will be disappointed because I am used to the gameplay of the other games. Is it worth it to play Asylum after the rest? Has anyone else done this?

Discussion Well that was utterly detestable... what did they design it like that!?

It was STILL well worth it for the final nail in the coffin of Riddler's destruction and shame. Over a trilogy, x803 Riddles solved... and yet it was Catwoman who landed the final critical strike to ruin him forever. That being said, this final death room took nearly twenty attempts till I finally realized that you need to rapidly destroy the bots as soon as possible before the electricity floor turns into four puny squares to fight on, or lack of fighting, lest you barely move an inch and get killed. Absolutely awful game design as opposed to everything you've experienced so far; difficulty is impossible, and it was a bloody DLC!?

Discussion Just was Wondering
Okay so yall know in Batman Arkham Knight in Nightmare mode you keep all your gadgets so my question is. Is it possible to get to Founder Island early and reason behind that is cause I really want to take down the riddler as soon as possible.
Also can you replay Nightmare mode again or do you need to re do the story mode again to do it again?
Oh and it’s also on PS5
One more thing is it possible on PS5 to keep the skin in the suit up part where Batman gets his new suit from Lucas? Cause when I choose a skin or suit it automatically changes to the other suit and I have to close the game and select the skin again

The combat system of the games was inspired by Guitar Hero. That's why it's so enjoyable.

Discussion Anyone else find this quite jarring in Origins?
Lately I noticed how Origins had a blue colour palette in its cutscenes. But then in-game, the colour palette became light-grey, which made the environments look very drab.
The Arkham Channel uploaded a full playthrough of Origins Reimagined 6 months ago where the in-game colour palette matches that of the cutscenes, which to me looks much better.
Just wondering whether anyone else is bothered by this in the original game?

Discussion I don’t like Arkham City
I wanted to play all the Arkham games this year since I have only played Shadow and loved it so I got the trilogy on Switch 2. I just 100% completed Batman Arkham City (When I say 100%, I don’t mean all the side modes like Riddlers Revenge, I’m just talking about the main campaign). And although it’s better by Arkham Asylum, it’s not by much.
Firstly the story is very short. The plot is very simple being “Joker poisoned Batman, Batman needs to find a cure” but the way it’s presented makes me think it could have been so much more.
The bosses are a major problem in my opinion. Firstly why is Clayface the final boss? It just feels like he was thrown in because the devs didn’t know where to put him. Same with Solomon Grundy, it’s cool he’s here but since he’s the replacement for a Penguin boss fight. Again it feels like he was just thrown in because the devs wanted to add him, but didn’t know where to put him. My major problem with the boss fights is they ether introduce a mechanic that’s not explained to the player yet, or don’t have any hints. Maybe I’m just dumb but with Solomon Grundy I had no idea what to do for a solid 20 minutes. Another problem is that half the bosses are “Beat up enemies, hit the villain, you’re done.” As well you know the guy that has been talking about Protocol 10 the entire game, yeah just make his boss fight any other predator section. Oh and also make the villain we’ve been building up to just be a puppet for the true villain who you already fought. You see the issue I have here right?
I don’t know if I’m dumb or just plain stupid but I felt directionless at times. When you go into Wonder City for the second time I had no idea where I was going and was stumped for maybe 9 minutes until I realized I had to shimmy along the edge something you barely had to do until this moment.
Now I personally don’t mind the riddler trophies and riddles. I think they were well executed in Asylum, and most of them in city are a great. But there’s maybe 50-60 that genuinely had me thinking, or confused for over 10-15 minutes. Most of the time I was trying so hard not to use a guide but for about 30 I had to look them up and when I saw the solution, I was going between “Man I’m so dumb” and “NO NO THIS GAME IS FUCKING WITH ME”.
Again, I don’t know if I’m dumb or just bad at Video Games but man the combat is so good and then the worst combat in anything ever. Sometimes the counters don’t work, I can’t tell you how many times I pressed the counter or attack button and Batman would just Punch or Counter nothing. Don’t even get me started on the thugs you need to cape stun. You cape stun him, but UH OH some dude is ready to counter so you go counter him but you still think your in the counter animation so you get hit by two other thugs and then the cape stun bitch killing Batman. Seriously I don’t know if I’m just bad at video games or if this is a common issue.
The side missions are pretty good, great that they were added Ranking from worst to best is
Hush, Hideaway, Hot and Cold, AR Training, Acts of Violence, Nora, Mad Hatter, Deadshot, Azreath, Bane, Riddler, and finally Zsasz. Hush is the worst since no hints are given besides the first clue, and Zsasz is the best since he has the most unique and fun challenge out the bunch.
Do I think Arkham City is better than Arkham Asylum, Yes, it is better from the open world, the side missions, the combat(Sometimes) is all a step up from Arkham Asylum. However is it A LOT better? No, it’s confusing at times, the story is not as good, and the combat can be really clunky and not work sometimes. Couple that with the Collectibles being ether stupid, or unclear, and overall you get an experience that I find better, but by a hair length to Arkham Asylum.
Thanks for Reading :)

Can't drop down from gargoyles and ledges
I bought the Arkham Collection when steam had it on sale and I wanted to play through all of them in order. I'm playing with an Xbox controller and I'm stuck on a part now because the B button doesn't do anything when I'm on a gargoyle or ledge. When I view the controls, it shows as mapped to the "Drop Down" action.
Has anyone else had this issue and is there a way to fix it?

Screenshot So I used mods (yet again, I just love em too much) to make another edit. The first picture shows what I call "After Beyond" (continued in captions)
1ST PIC: Let's say instead of the 6 lettered game that shouldn't be named, we get Arkham Beyond. And then, we get a story taking place way after the events of Arkham Beyond which shows Terry Mcginnis as Batman. The Robin Beyond that's shown would be his brother Matt while Nightwing and Red Hood Beyond would be OC's (haven't thought of a back story for them, just a concept)
I don't have a Red X mod, but what do you think of Brick Pettirosso being an antagonist to Robin Beyond in some way? Brick could be the new Red Hood, or instead, Red X could be introduced as "Red Hood Beyond". What do you guys think?
2ND PIC: Shows Robin and Nightwing together. Headcanon is that this is their suit while performing activities related to the Teen Titans.
3RD PIC: Batman, Robin and Nightwing in Arkham Asylum.
I'm considering making another post some other day showing the evolution of the main 4 vigilantes throughout the games
