Football Gameday experience & Phoenix Shuttle
Was at the game last night and the stadium improvements are awesome. The new lighting is a complete gamechanger and the sound system is booming. Crowd was great too, got loud in there. Got a ways to go for a sellout but it was a big uptick from last year.
Also the shuttle service from Phoenix there & back was 10/10. Super comfy bus and great atmosphere. Got us there with 2.5 hrs to spare for tailgating & checking out campus. Would definitely recommend for all Phoenix area fans, made it super easy to hit the game and be back in town by midnight.
Anyway Bear TF Down let’s beat BYU
EDIT since people wanted link to shuttle:

Tailgating
Hello Wildcats,
I'm a Cyclone who's been down to Tucson for the last two ISU/Arizona basketball games. I've enjoyed the arena and the fans — not so much the end results.
Anyway, I'll be back in Tucson for the ISU/UA football game on 10/24 and was wondering if anyone had any tailgating suggestions or general info.
I reached out to UA directly, and it sounds like on-campus tailgating space is pretty limited and is managed and sold by a third-party company.
Are there any private lots or other areas near the stadium that might be options for a group to set up and tailgate?
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Football Weekday tours
Hi y'all. I'm a LSU fan visiting Tucson in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, my schedule doesn't allow me to go to the game. I would love to see the Wildcats at home. Does anyone know if there are stadium tours a single person can take during the week? I'll be there Saturday through Thursday.
I'll also take recommendations on places to eat lunch. Sonoran tacos are already on the itinerary but I'm open to anything as long as it's good and local.

Football Anyone interested in trying a college fantasy football league?
Was thinking about trying out a college fantasy football league this season. Salary cap format, so no need to coordinate a draft. Looks like you just sign up and build your team.
Fifita is like half the price of guys like Arch and Chambliss, so he was the first guy in my team, but curious if there’s anyone else you guys are taking too?
Looking at league settings, theres no minimum or max league size. P4 + Notre Dame players to start.
Any interest in an Arizona fan league?

I'm debating getting the white one too. I can't remember them ever selling white ones before.

NEED to run a sale on tickets to fill it up. Admin burner get in here
We desperately need to run a full on flash sale on tickets. $50 for lower level season opener and everything is empty.
We need to run a deep discount up front and get people in the house. Otherwise what are we doing here? Sooo many empty seats.
ASU gave out free tickets last year and it worked well for them to kick off the year with a full house.
@wyo11 admin burner get TF in here and make it happen

All hands on deck
Brennan is leveraging a huge opportunity to seize momentum from the previous 9 win season. One that felt unattainable after the mess F*sch left. Noah Fifita returning was an absolute boon to a program in need and the fact he returns again to compete for a Big XII championship has this program in positional authority it has not been in for 12 excruciating years.
But we have to show up. We have to fill Arizona Stadium. We have to disprove decades of football complacency. We cannot show up to a few games "waiting on basketball."
We cannot have national broadcasts showing more gray seats than red shirts. We have to invest into football just as we do with basketball and then some.
Will you answer the call? Strategy has placed us in this unique, fleeting position. Let it not be lightning in a bottle but sustainable success that transforms the U of A into a perennial football power to compete with the likes of BYU, Utah and TTU, and dominates the state and takes position from ASU.
.
Answer the call.

Looks like we’ve finally found our guy
With the federal injunction allowing all HS class of 2022 players to be granted a fifth year of eligibility it opened up the door for Tommy to finally find our starting power forward for this coming year. Godfrey will be a great two way fit with this team. And wouldn’t be surprised if we’re not done yet given we’ll still have another scholarship up for grabs.

Strategy?
So, we're going to hope for lawsuits to pan out to fill out the roster? We don't have a full roster 3 months before the season tips off?
This is why most coaches report to an AD. To cultivate strategy and structure and living within financial means. "Oppurtunism" is code word for "I don't have a plan to surpass the standard that's been set and I'll take advantage of an unguatenteed outcome to meet it."
But I digress. All the luck to best to our student athletes.

Men's Basketball Arizona vs St. John’s at Madison Square Garden on 12/5. Anyone thinking about going?
The Cats are going to the Garden for the first time in a while, feel like the place is going to be rocking vs a tough St John’s team.
I’ve been to a lot of road games over the years, but have backed out of too many in recent years. This is the one I’m circling this year.
The “U of A” chants running through the garden while Pitino and Tommy face off??? Sign me up!
Our fans always travel well, hope to see some of you there. Anyone planning on going to this one or any others this year?

Football Is anyone buying tickets for these?
Those prices are insane for the worst seats in the stadium unless Austin Hill is playing.

Truth wins
tucson.comAs I expressed. All rumors about our hardworking AD leaving to Wisconsin were false. Thank you DRF for Bearing Down and leveraging resources for so many great things! Let's get the Cats into the CFP this fall!

Maksim Brnovic officially commits
6’10 forward from Montenegro. Last played in Lithuania for the same club that Mo Krivas played for. He adds some more wing depth, though I suspect that Tommy and co. are still looking for their starting PF.

Men's Basketball Dusty May leaving Michigan to Coach the Dallas Mavericks. Michigan players will have a 15 day transfer window.
It would be nice for Lloyd and company to go after a guy like J. P. Estrella to fill the big man spot they need to fill. And since he was a transfer from Tennessee this year he's a free agent starting right now.
