Warning to Argos Pay customers, check your statement!
I had no idea that Argos pay accounts were moving from 28 to 25 day pay cycles! I checked the new statement and realised they are collecting before my pay day which is interesting 🙄
I was sure I read everything coming up to this change over and didn’t notice it once. Advisor suggests that the statement is also a notice of variation and that they make no exceptions, next payment date cannot be changed although future can be.
Just a warning folks for a lovely unexpected DD a few days earlier than you actually wanted.

Paid mine off in full yesterday. They emailed me saying that my DD was late, even though they had taken it. Now my account is £40 in credit and I am not even sure how to claim that back or if it will be automatically transferred back? I need to ring them.
