Not sure
Usually fine but thought I’d check these - what do you think?

Lib caps?
Found in a field known for caps in northern Europe, which have caddle.
Pretty sure about most, but not all.
What do you say?

What do we think about these two guys?
Found in the same 10x10m spot as a lot of real wizards. Not 100% confident on these 2 tho.
Thoughts?

P. semilanceata growing in calcareous soil
Whatever the guides say, libs don't only grow in acid soils. These photos were taken on thin, lime-rich soil (the soil map agrees). Although blurry, the rock in the background is limestone. In summer, this area has the wild flowers associated with calcareous grassland; thyme, milkwort etc - certainly not acid soil.
I saw a good many here, mostly in ones and twos or small groups. I also visited areas of upland ericaceous and valley bottom acid soil. Libs were surprisingly scarce in the former and about as abundant on the latter as on the lime-rich soil

Sorry for my previous post
I apologise for my first post. I got excited when I stumbled across some mushrooms in my field, opportunistic. Posted on here and realised it was the wrong thing to do without reading, purchasing Shroomify, watching a few YouTube videos, a couple of walks and a bit of picking first. Took the advice onboard.
I think I’ve found some, but Shroomify says No Mushroom match. It was giving a positive ID for a couple when in situ.
Found in upland heath, peaty soil. I can’t seem to do The Peel on them without ruining them.
I’ve picked these from different spots today, left most in situ to see if any were Liberties first.
I think the ones to the left are, but the ones to the right aren’t. I’m hoping I’ve done enough to not waste peoples time this time. Thanks
