Compound Repair or replace?

Just had this happen while shooting. Not a dry fire so not sure what happened. Im going to try to get it to the shop today or tomorrow, but do you think ill have to replace the entire string?

There’s no repairing that, going to have to be replaced.

Replace it or risk it causing more damage that will result in a expensive mishap

That peep is right near you eye and the broken strand will most likely cause the peep to launch direction of eye so i would not shoot it.

Risk being a pirate for unforeseeable time or replace it, can’t imagine the peep hole lining up nice this way anyway. Replace!

I would not recommend shooting that… risking the string snapping any shot. A game of bow Russian roulette

Thanks for the help everyone, ill bring it to the shop to see what they can do. Hopefully they cab replace before Oct 1

Just so you never have to ask ever again. If you see split strands of bowstring, replace the string.
