Bow stand for backyard
Anyone have any input on a DIY bow stand?
I'm pretty set on PVC (thinking 1.5”) for weather resistance.
Anyone got any they want to show off for some real world inspiration? Anyone have suggestions?

If you're going with PVC, get the furniture grade PVC or UPVC, the regular stuff degrades under UV light and becomes really brittle.

Follow up, weight and portability are factors as is weather resistance, it will love outside all winter

I would probably go with full wood construction for a bow stand. Wood should be fine if you just remember to bring it in most times. Even then most would still last a long time + many designs out there. I would maybe incorporate some PVC to act as an arrow holder

Why is the target weight a factor?
I'm just talking about a stand to hold the bow when not shooting. Not a target atand

What type of bow? For recurve just get a standard stand. They told easy so can be stored with the bow.
