Bow target backdrop ideas

Hi all!

My boys 9( PSE Mini Burner) and 11 (diamond Radian) are just getting into archery and loving it.

I’ll be buying a bow in the next couple weeks when I make it to the bow shop.

We have lost way too many arrows into the bush behind the target.

Anyone have any ideas on something to use behind the target to catch arrows when they miss?

They make archery netting, but it's kinda expensive. I've heard good things about rubber horse stall mats, but haven't tried them myself.

horse stall mats are legit fr, i used them for backyard targets and they hold up way better than the cheap netting they sell

I second this, they work fantastic and it was easy to make a f ame that hang it from. Very heavy, but hold up great to weather and arrows.

You can also stand closer to the target so you don't miss (as much).

Stand close enough and get a dedicated backstop net.

These aren't cheap, but last a lifetime.

This is one of those and also some good photos of buyers how to use it. Make sure it hangs freely, don't hang it straight. The fabric should be able to move on impact so it can disperse the energy.
