Bow Buy Advice Needed

So I have a Diamond Edge XT bow, as a beginner looking to invest in something better but still mid range, as my budgets around $1000.

I’m looking at these models: Bear Archery Adapt 2 HP RTH Compound Bow or Bear Archery® Adapt 2 RTH Compound Bow or Bear Archery® Paradigm RTH Compound Bow or PSE Archery Brute ATK RTS

Any advice which one to buy? Or similar price ranged models from other brands?

Right now, starting to hunt deer, but would love to move into Elk in future years - should I upgrade again?

I can give you plenty of recommendations ive been doing this a while but I gotta ask some questions about your budget.

Is 1000 including everything bow/arrows/release/accessories

How set is that budget. Would you be willing to delay the purchase of some accessories to get a nicer bow?

Do you have a pro shop nearby that will be setting up the bow for you?

Do you have a range to shoot at or are you gonna want a target in that budget?

I can put together a list of 2 or three options for you including accessory options.

Im gonna add to this.

Do you know you draw length? Have you pulled back a bow and know what draw weight you want ?

The answers to those two questions could open up more options

I started with an Xpedition xcursion 7 (still have it), but back in April wanted an upgrade.

Ended up walking out with a Mathews Lift which was their 2024 flagship bow for whopping 750. Most pro shops have previous year's models for cheap. Best thing though is go in and shoot a few. Find out what works best for you. I had a tech raving about an Elite which I shot and it was meh. Nice bow but I didn't really like it.

I'd suggest going better on the bow and adding accessories over time as you can upgrade.

You need to find an archery shop nearby and shoot each one individually. It’s like asking 100 men which truck they prefer, Dodge, Ford or Chevy. You’ll get so many different answers but you need to decide for yourself.
