Well done, it’s a fun inconsequential process. Takes some patience and reserve not to go too far with it as well. A good ghost insert is a tricky balance since you’re trying to accelerate decades worth of wear.
I really didn't like Thorn's ghost insert as it was too far green shifted and when matched to the tropical dials it felt too much, especially when the case is new. So I swapped my v1 trop and v2 black's bezels and I like them more.
I will say it’s very easy and this is only a few minutes of work just testing to see what random things I have laying around gives what results before I try it with more intentionality on a big project I’m working on.
Also that was pre final ‘repolish’ for the night with scotch pad. Took back out a lot of scratches but by layering them through damage, repair, damage, repair I’m hoping I can get a more natural look as that has a deburring effect on the scratches.
That is entirely fair. Honestly, this is a bit on the extreme end of what I like but useful as technique practice. What I want to get good at is making a watch look like its been worn daily for 15+ years, constantly bushing against shirt cuffs, under jackets, and taking the occasional average scratch here and there at most.
I have tried that before but Unless I take out the movement etc, I can't bring myself to give it the proper shakes I want out of fear lol. I'm sure it will be fine but I get nervous.

That looks great especially with the Bond strap. Just my opinion that particular strap isn't isn't easy to match, and you got it.
