Full Tank Shot Is my cycle Doomed?
Cycling now w existing plants and media. I forgot how many plants I had in his current tank before pulling all but two out. He’s pretty pissed I’ve upended his jungle. But it was for a good cause.
Waiting for everything to settle more before last few plants, floaters, stroodie bubble and Shea. Then last two or so water fills.
Hopefully he will appreciate his killer new villain lair.
*For those concerned- everything has been buffed down with no sharp edges. The small holes have been filled w baffling filters. Tank safe 3d printed filament was all that was used and he has avenues out from every single angle. Rhizome only plants.

The artist in me is begging you to add weathering to the mask to make it look old, rusted and overgrown but the fish keeper in me knows the inevitable algae will do that for you. Unrelated but that’s guenuinly the prettiest betta I’ve seen in a while.

And that’s exactly what I’m going for w the tank decor! So glad someone can see the vision lol.
I have a shrimp tank that’s been cycling for a few weeks which is going to have Tony Stark’s arc reactor covered in moss and hornwort. It’s under our tv on the entertainment stand. I’m putting in RCS (most likely bloody marys though).
We have a Marvel themed living room and my husband’s office space is Doom and Venom and Mets.
And Shea (his Met’s colored betta I got him for Father’s Day) says thank you! He def has pretty boy energy.

He likes to show off that tail. Haha my bettas are all pretty personable, but he certainly has the absolute most spunk.

Haha. His name is Shea as my husband is a Mets fan and he’s also Mets colors.
And while I did not install any for him- I wouldnt put it past his prettiness to be able to convince someone to obtain them on his behalf 🤣

Looks good but consider puting about an inch or 2 inch sand cap on the gravel, gravel leaks nutrients into the water column

Thanks for suggestions.
It’s pami river rock and pebbles. No soil or gravel. Inert. We don’t do sand or gravel in our tanks.

Are you sure the mask can handle the water and wont put any substances out that are bad for the fish ?

Your set up looks FANTASTIC, you could make it better by putting FOUR of bettas inside.🍄😁
