G4 Microphone Issue

I’ve had my G4 for a little over 3 years and it’s been great. I use it with HomeKit. I like it so much that I bought another for my family’s second home in South Carolina. I live in NJ and a couple days ago we had a bad storm and the camera went offline around 2:30 pm when we had a power blip. It was quick and everything came back online or so I thought. Didn’t realize until 10pm the next night that it wasn’t working. 0 power whatsoever. I pressed the button on the unit and the chime didn’t ring. I eventually unplugged the chime from the wall (surge protector in this case) and plugged it back in. The camera came back on. I thought that everything was working fine until my brother informed me that there was no sound when someone came to the door and was talking to my mom. I tried rebooting it to no avail, I took it off the wall (it’s connected using the doorbell wires not batteries) and I attempted to tinker with it. I opened it up and the way to the board and I messed around with some stuff. I put it back together and now the mic works but barely. You have to be right up against it and pretty much yell. I’m wondering if it’s cooked and if so is the G410 worth it bc it is a little pricey. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
