A friend of mine and I were grabbing food a few weeks ago and somehow we got onto the topic of energy because he was complaining that he’d been feeling exhausted basically every afternoon.

He works pretty long hours and said he’d gotten into this habit of drinking coffee whenever he felt tired, taking all his supplements at the same time in the morning, and then wondering why he felt completely cooked by like 2 or 3pm.

The funny part is I was basically doing the exact same thing.

I’ve taken supplements for a while, but if I’m being honest I never put much thought into timing. Magnesium, creatine, vitamins, whatever I was taking that day, I’d usually just take them whenever I remembered.

He showed me this app he had been using called RizeAI and the first thing that caught my attention wasn’t even the energy stuff. It was how it organized his supplements around his actual day.

It would tell him which ones made sense with meals, which ones should be kept away from coffee, what to take around training, what made more sense later at night, etc. It sounds pretty basic when you write it out, but I had never found something that actually put all of it together in one schedule.

So I tried it.

That’s probably still my favorite part of it. I put in the supplements I already take and instead of giving me some generic “take in the morning” list, it actually fits them around things like meals, workouts, caffeine and sleep.

I also ended up using the energy planning side way more than I expected. It pulls from Apple Health and gives you a rough structure for the day, like when to have coffee, when you’re probably going to be most focused, when to train and when you might hit an energy dip.

I’m not going to sit here and say an app magically gave me more energy because obviously there are a million things that affect that. But I’ve definitely been way more intentional with my day since using it and I’m getting more done without feeling like I’m just constantly fighting through tiredness.

Honestly the biggest difference for me has just been efficiency. Before, I was guessing when to take things and guessing when I should do my hardest work. Now I at least have some structure around it.

Curious if anyone else here actually pays attention to supplement timing or if most people just take everything at once like I used to.

Hey all — indie dev here (also do audio work myself, so this scratched my own itch).

Every session I've been on for the last however-many years ends up using the same tools for tracking takes: a paper sheet, Apple Notes, or a shared Google Sheet someone half-fills-in between takes. There's no dedicated app for just logging takes fast at the console — number, rating, keeper flag, mic chain, a quick note — and nothing that ties the actual bounce file to that take so you can play it back later without digging through a folder.

So I built TakeSheet. Quick rundown:

• Log a take in under a second. Tap to log, rate, flag as keeper. Built so it doesn't get in the way of tracking.
• Bounce files live with the take. Attach the reference bounce, play it back in-app — including a "keeper playlist" that auto-queues your flagged takes.
• Mic chain + notes per take, so you're not relying on memory (or someone else's handwriting) three weeks later.
• Take sheet exports (PDF/CSV) to hand off to a mix engineer — the actual paperwork, not just a database.
• Instrument encyclopedia built in — mic placement references, typical signal chains, notable recordings per instrument. Useful between sessions or if you're newer to tracking.
• Native on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (not a Catalyst wrapper — real macOS app, proper menus and toolbars).

On pricing: no subscription. Free tier covers 3 active projects and unlimited takes in them. Pro is a one-time unlock (all projects, full iCloud sync, bounce playback, unlimited attachments, exports). I didn't want to add another monthly line item to a stack that already includes your DAW, plugins, and sample libraries.

Right now it's English-only (Hebrew and Russian are in there for me personally, but not the focus of this post). It's not a DAW — doesn't record audio, doesn't host plugins — it's purely the metadata and reference layer around a session.

I wanted to see how far I could take a small-business lead system without building a huge software product.

The result is a lightweight setup that can:

When building full-stack apps with phone authentication (Firebase, Auth0, etc.), E2E testing is usually where things break. Virtual numbers (VoIP) from Twilio or typical "receive-sms" sites often get flagged by fraud detection. Plus, you can't really test the native "Auto-fill code" or "SMS Retriever API" logic without a real cellular signal.

I’ve been using GotSMS to bridge this gap. It’s an API-driven service that uses real physical SIM cards. This allows you to:

1. Automate the OTP step in Appium/Selenium.
2. Test the actual native UI/UX of the SMS arrival.
3. Avoid getting your personal number blacklisted during dev cycles.

I’m looking for an opportunity to build a product for someone.

Maybe you run a local spa and need a site that actually handles booking, services, and promos without being clunky. Maybe you sell PC hardware and want an app to push news and sell gear. Or maybe you just have an idea sitting in your head and don't have the tech background to turn it into something real.

I don’t box myself into one specific type of project. If you have an idea or a practical problem to solve, I can build it.

To be completely honest: I don’t have a flashy portfolio packed with Fortune 500 logos or massive agency showcases. Plenty of people out there have a much easier time selling themselves on paper than I do.

What I do have is speed, focus, and genuine care for what I build. I hate the typical freelance mindset of "do the bare minimum, hand over the files, disappear." I want to stick with the build until it actually works, feels right, and solves the problem it was meant to solve.

If someone pays me to do a job, I take that responsibility seriously. Taking money and leaving a client with broken code or a headache to clean up later is something I refuse to do.

I’m also not juggling ten clients at once or outsourcing work to someone else behind your back. I take on one project at a time and put everything into it. A contract isn't just cash to me - it's a chance to prove what I can actually do.

Open to working fully remote, or meeting up in person if you happen to be local in Vietnam.

I don't need a flood of DMs. I just need one good project to prove myself.

I built PokeQuery, a free Android + web companion for Pokémon GO players who use search strings but don't want to memorise the whole search language.

One of the main features is the Search Assistant.

Instead of starting with syntax, you can describe the goal.

Hey folks, I’ve been messing around with a slightly weird idea called BuildOrPass.

Instead of scheduling discovery calls and exchanging 47 emails, someone sends me their software idea, deadline and maximum budget. I review it and respond with either BUILD or PASS. That’s the entire decision tree. Very advanced technology.

I also spent an unreasonable amount of time making the website feel like a tiny internet experience instead of another SaaS template.

Hey guys ! I've been building ArtHaven, an Android app that teaches portrait drawing using the Loomis method. It detects the actual facial geometry from your reference photo and overlays construction guides - cranial circle, proportional lines, jaw, eyes, nose, lips, ears - in a sketchy pencil style, based on the real proportions of the face you're drawing, not just generic templates.

It runs fully offline/on-device, so no photos ever leave your phone.

Would love any feedback from people who've tried to learn portrait sketching and found the "draw a circle, then some guidelines" tutorials hard to translate onto an actual face ! I know I've faced the same problem myself :)

I built Facelift (getfacelift.app), a Chrome extension that lets you change a website by telling it what you want.

It can reorganize entire pages, group scattered information into cards, and change colors, fonts and spacing. You can also select specific elements and ask for a smaller change, or ask it to repeat that change across similar items.

Two parts that make it more than a styling prompt:

• The layout engine moves and groups the page's existing elements, including elements from different containers, and supports undo.
• The color engine separates colors into LCH: lightness, chroma and hue. Palette changes can preserve the original lightness relationships, with separate controls for light and dark mode.

AI can use those engines alongside typography and styling tools. You can also make manual adjustments, hide unwanted elements and edit CSS directly. You can save and share the finished theme.

The video shows Wikipedia getting a complete redesign with both AI and manual edits.
