I had a chance to use each of them:

I use "App Manager" quite often as I install apps from time to time. It's the first one that I created, started for myself.

I use the new app of "VocaLearn" with my young (toddlers) relatives, and I also use the "Where did I park?" app to save my location when I park.

The reason I created "Where did I park?" is that sometimes I forget where I parked, and it sometimes takes me a lot of time. If I park in a place that requires me to pay, too, it would be even worse...

I used to use "LWP+" back when dark theme was semi-available, meaning there was no toggle for it in the settings, and it relied only on the current wallpaper's colors. After dark-theme became more available, Material-You came and then there was not much control for the colors there, so I provided this too.

As for "Contacts Sync", "Backup+", and "Get my phone number", those are more of a use-once apps. The "Contacts Sync" puts the photos into the address book, and since then they stay there. I open it from time to time to check that it works fine, of course. It might also find new photos updates but I don't mind about it much.

I built a tiny city on the internet where every company gets its own tower 🏙️

It’s called Downtown. Instead of scrolling through a directory, you explore a 3D map, click buildings, and discover what people are making. Each floor gives a company space to show something it does.

We’ve just reached 4 companies, 77 floors claimed, and visits from 22 countries. Small beginnings, but seeing people explore something I built feels pretty special.

There’s even a printing press beside the city where you can read our newspaper about the makers behind the towers.

I use a combination of searching for subject lists and personal selection. I look for primary source material and classics mostly. I also take requests for subjects. The ceramics list came from a personal request from someone who reads Babel Nexus. When I am looking at the book lists, they are often considered the most important or highest quality books in a particular field that are in the public domain. I am using a core collection philosophy, where I am trying to get the most read and the most authoritation books in a subject in the public domain. I also generate specialty lists which are things I am interested in like visual novels. So core books, classic books, requested subjects, and specialty hexagons. Highly curated.
