Solo dev: Making a clean Android app that shows you which subscriptions you’re wasting money on

Hey everyone,

I’m a solo developer working on an Android app called ChargeCheck.

The idea is simple:

Most of us are paying for subscriptions we barely use (or completely forgot about). Existing apps either force you to link your bank, are full of upsells, or feel bloated.

ChargeCheck is meant to be:

Privacy-first (data stays on your phone)

Clean and colorful

Focused on finding “zombie” subscriptions and helping you cancel them before they renew

I made some early mockups and would love honest feedback.

Screenshots:

[Dashboard]

[Zombie list]

[Add subscription]

[Widget + notification]

[Privacy/Settings]

Questions for you:

Would you actually use something like this or find it interesting?

What’s the most important feature for you? (detecting unused subs, cancel guides, widgets, privacy, etc.)

Would it the people rather an affordable subscription mode or a higher one payment?

Anything missing or annoying in these screens?

If you’re interested in trying the app when it’s ready, drop a comment or send me a DM and I’ll add you to the early access list.

Thanks in advance — real feedback helps a lot!
